OK, so I just read an article that has Roach stating he's not worried if Cotto pulls a Mayweather and comes in at 147...

"But that's no problem," Roach said. "I'm not worried."

"One or two pounds heavier, we are not worried. We have the best fighter here," he said.

Then I read another article that says he'll make sure Cotto doesn't use his weight to his advantage...

“We will make sure that Cotto cannot use his weight to his advantage,” Roach told The Philippine Star.

So what gives?? Sounds like now he's saying if he does come in heavier then he's supposed to he call the fight off. Roach seems to me doing a lot of flip-flopping as of lately.

Either way, Pacman wins. Roach ain't fuggin stupid. Come in overweight, Pac wins a lot of dough.

Because that is whats on the contract. Cotto will make the weight easy and I just cant wait for this fight. It will be a much more action packed then Floyd vs JMM.
    Cotto late TKO

I'm a big fan of both fighters, but I think can agree with Roach. Cotto is a big WW. Even if Cotto makes 145, he's still going to put on around 10lbs over night. Therefore he wants to make sure Cotto doesnt give himself any extra advantage the way Floyd did, by coming in at 147 anyway, and just paying a fine.

Meaning....he won't let the weight of cotto be utilized during the fight by implementing a strategy to ensure PAC is using his skills to avoid a fight where Cotto could bully or lay on PAC to wear him out.

Meaning...... Cotto must come in weight drained or else we will pull out. The fact is we need Cotto to win for Boxing. If Pac wins and actually gets in the ring with PBF he will get the same treatment as JMM but worse. He is TOO SMALL. If Cotto wins it would be a much better fight with a classic WW body puncher vs Floyd and we could also get PAC vs JMM 3. No more of the catchweight circus for money. What next Roach...... Amir khan vs Calderon?

I really think Mayweather would rather fight Pac no matter if he loss or won. Not only for the money but I think he would feel more comfortable with a the smaller Pac then the bigger Cotto.

As much as Floyd would love to fight Manny if he loses the public would not accept it. Let's just hope Manny doesn't lose a close decision to Cotto because Floyd would definantly pick on him and say he believes he beat Cotto therefor he will fight him instead of the winner. Believe me I believe he will fight PAC but it would not be PBF fault. It would be our fault for accepting it. Were looking to blame Floyd for the mismatch with JMM but we are to blame along with GBP. So Mosely STFu because your company knew JMM couldnt beat Floyd but you did it anyway

He is saying that they know Cotto WILL have a weight advantage, but they are gonna fight and box in a way that they WILL NOT allow him to benefit from it.

Cotto has a weight advantage and Manny has a speed advantage so what's the f&?ckin differance? Should Cotto say "Pac has a speed advantage so I want him to not sleep for 2 days prior to the fight so he comes in tired, so it's even". How bout " he hits harder than me so he has to wear 16 ounce gloves while I wear 8 ounce gloves. Or He has more stamina so the fight is only a 6 rounder. If that's the case Judah would beat all of them.

He was 'too small' for DLH.
He was 'too small' for Hatton.

The 'too small' argument holds no weight with me anymore.

I don't know if you hae ever boxed before but there is no way you can be a part time boxer. You have to be fully dedicated. dLH is NO LONGER dedicated. He is a part time fighter which may work against C level fighters. I am impressed on the Ko with Hatton but do you believe he does anything...... Anything better than PBF. He's not faster, smarter, hits harder or in better condition than FLoyd. And Floyd will have 10 pounds on him makes it a no contest.
