    Roach to politics-bound Pacquiao: Beat Mayweather before retiring

    Pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao is bent on running for office that he’s set his eyes on retiring next year.

    But his long-time trainer Freddie Roach has one piece of advice to his politics-bound ward: Beat Floyd Mayweather, Jr. first in an ultimate battle for the mythical P4P title before hanging up your gloves.

    “I would like (Manny) to finish with beating Mayweather," Roach said in an interview in Baguio City, where Team Pacquiao is encamped for the Pacman’s training for his upcoming fight with Miguel Cotto.

    Pacquiao reasserted his decision to vie for a congressional seat next year, a sign that he was ready to call it a day insofar as his illustrious boxing career is concerned.

    "Buo na ang pasya ko. Talagang tatakbo ako," Pacquiao told mediamen at the Baguio City Hall Thursday, when he paid Mayor Reinaldo Bautista, Jr. a courtesy call.

    “I will be announcing that (candidacy). Alam mo, kung magserbisyo ka sa mga tao, serbisyo talaga yan e. Ayaw na sana ako palabanin ng mama at pamilya ko. Sabi niya noon, last na yung kay (Ricky) Hatton, sabi ko hindi kasi malayo pa naman ang eleksyion. Pwede pa ako lumaban."

    Roach said he would not dissuade his prized pupil from pursuing his political plans and turning his back on boxing.

    Roach will not let Pac fight PBF unless its his farewell fight to cash out.
    He knows whats coming if they fight.

    I cant wait till Mayweather boxes the **** outta Manny, JUST to see Roach`s face & believe me, it WILL happen if Pac gets by Cotto, which Im not entirely convinced he will.

    Roach is some idiot, I thought they don't need Mayweather?, did Pac call him and tell him to STFU at last?

    With all the demands the delusional cockroach will ask for, don't expect this fight to happen and I WON'T blame Mayweather for not taking. What do they want?, more money?, official medical proof that Mayweather is drained to death?, catchweight of 137.5lbs?

    I love how floyd fans take EVERYTHING Roach says so serious and love to criticize him and forget that Floyd is the one that says dumb **** most of the time.

    I'm a Pac fan as I'm a Mayweather fan, yes I will take everything Roach says seriously. Pacman's last two fights happened BECAUSE OF ROACH.

    That's not serious enough to you? :huh

    Floyd never said dumb ****, he told people he's the main man in boxing and even I didn't believe it judging by all the negative comments yet he makes 1million+ fighting none other than Marquez which had TOO MUCH negativity leading up to it. If that's not good enough proof then what is?, look how much Pac did fighting Marquez. Hell Mayweather might have done more fighting Marquez than Pac did fighting DLH.

    No ****. PBF is going to put a clinic on Pac the so called greatest of all time ass if he ever steps foot in the ring with him. The look on Roach's face will be priceless when he realizes that his fighter is outclassed.
