Looking forward to the card. I voted for Manhoef but was hoping for Mark Hunt to get an opportunity too. But fair play to K-1, they did listen to the fans in regards to votes.

    Aerts vs. Alistair Overeem

i'm very curious about that one... Last time Overeem fought in K1 he ridiculed Hari...can he do the same vs a past prime Aerts ? I seriously doubt it...but anything can happen..

Can't wait for this. Will be interesting to see if Alistair Overeem can continue his success in K-1. I'm looking forward to seeing Errol Zimmerman. Guaranteed excitement. I'd like to see him against Manhoef. That would be a great fight.

Another plus is that Hong Man Choi isn't in it this year.:happy

Manhoef got his ass handed to him last time by Bonjansky. Manhoef is my boy but he's not a heavyweight and he doesnt have the tools to beat a tall rangy kickboxer like Bonjansky. They've fought twice already. We dont need a 3rd time.

True, I was hoping K-1 would have matched him up with someone else. Still, you can never completly rule him out and it would be great if he pulls it off.

Looks like a great card. i wish Manhoef would KO Remy as well - but it's not very likely. It's like poor old Maurice Smith and all those times he fought Aerts and Hoost. He was just too small to handle the much larger men - three or four times apiece.

I doubt it, they are both good friends and they also train together at the same gym. Only way it will happen is if they both make it to the final.

I thought Hari trained at his own gym now?

Or does he still go to Mikes part time?

Not sure you know. Mike was cornering him in his last fight vs Schilt, so I'm assuming he is still with Mike.
