who cares P4P is not official its basicly ratings made up by lazy couch potatos who think they know the sport.

 

The proof is in the pudding.

Look at how easily Floyd dealt with the combination and counter punching of Marquez vs how legitimate of a challenge it was for Pacquaio. Floyd showed in this instance that his speed is a level above anything Pacquaio can think he's got.

All the talk of Marquez being slower at 144, not in my view - he was quick enough to catch Floyd with a couple right hands, you don't do that without being supremely good with timing - Floyd is susceptible to the left hook, not the right hand.

 

Mayweather just fought a fighter way smaller than him. That's the opposite of p4p.

15 vs 13 1st place votes, pretty close despite what PBF did to JMM. This sets up the mega fight quite nicely. Let's just see if Pac can get past Cotto first though.

PBF was P4P #1 when he retired Pac did nothing to take it away from him. Add that and the obvious skills advantage PBF has over Pac and you see why.

 

I think P. Williams, after he decisions Pavlik, moves to p4p2 after Mayweather KO's Pacquiao.
