Like I said, it is a FACT that Hispanics are one of the largest if not THE largest PPV consumers in the U.S.

The Blacks buy PPVs like crazy as well. Not only that, but the fight was marketed like crazy, Floyd hadn't fought in like 2 years, and there hadn't been any recent PPVs.

I find it surprising too, but I guess it's really all good for the sport.

JMM was the draw for the fight not so much Floyd, just by seeing the audience that appeared to be about 80% for JMM.

To be honest, I think Marquez, Cotto, and Pac have a bigger following than Floyd. Hotton probley did too, all of England was behind him. What you think?

Don't forget that Hatton v Floyd did 1.2 million over here.

Nothing weird, this is Mayweather's return in a long time and idiots here who claimed "no one cares" turned out to be the complete opposite.

This also proves that Mayweather had a lot to do with the Hatton fight selling as much as it did.

Not really, remember this was Mayweather's return to boxing after a 2 year absence. A lot of people missed him. The haters to.

I love how the haters are trying to make Marquez the ppv draw, you just have to laugh.

    Mayweather is officially certified platinum.:deal

Blacks do buy PPV, but I don't think to the extent that Mexicans do when they support their fighters. Or Pinoys do with Pac.

Alot of Blacks around where im at root for Floyd but are more hyped up on Football, and won't spend the money on PPV. Blacks have so many sports Icons, versus the Philipines that only have Pac.

That's why Hopkins made that comment about Mosley vs Mayweather would be good for the Black community. It would recapture their interset in the sport.

    Or am I wrong?
