Hey Guys, just uploaded a real in-depth interview with George. There's some great stuff in there with him talking about his amateur days, the fight with DeGale, and turning pro. I also included a few questions which had popped up on this forum such as his style with the low left hand and how big he is at the weight (will he be moving up etc). Hope you guys enjoy it! http://grovesvdegale.wordpress.com/2009/09/25/exclusive-george-groves-interview/#more-237 To answer questions about October 4th and the undercard, George is fighting Matthew Barr, it will be an 8 rounder, and also on the bill is Robert Lloyd Taylor who will be making a return to the ring for the first time since late 2007, and a number of fighters trained by Johnny Eames. Cheers, Dave.
Great, great interview that. Sounds like a very clever and dignified young lad. I liked how he talked about his training and why he decided to sign for Hayemaker rather than make a quick buck. It is so true, the money will come, you don't need a big signing on pay cheque making you complacent. We've seen that in the past... Also good he'll fight for the right titles rather than going down a fradulent route.
'Much bigger, much faster and much stronger' and also goes by the name of Dave:think. That was a good read. Cheers and thanks for sharing, Dave:good.
Very interesting read. Comes across really well. Except for liking michael mcintyre. No excuse for that.
Top interveiw. Not seen groves fight yet but lookin forward to doin so . So does this mean we've possibly got the future undisputed heavyweight champion of the world posting on here???? Sound
