You guys know how much Floyd likes that WBC strap ... and Berto is the WBC champion right now ... just wondering what Berto could do to get in position for that fight. I'm starting to think the public doesn't care too much about Mosley and Mayweather ... the post interview debate was all hype.

No. He still needs a few more fights against solid B- level guys at least. Collazo & Urango are probably at that level, certainly the former, but he was pushed very close by Collazo and Urango as we know couldn't be less like Floyd. I don't think he's ready at all.

I think he can probably handle the spotlight, I think he will embrace the challenge and give it his best shot, I just don't think he's ready to execute a game plan against a guy with the class of Mayweather.

I don't think Berto will be 'exposed', I think it will just be a case of him not being ready and being outclassed by a superior fighter. Doesn't make him a poor fighter, it just means Floyd was better. If there's one thing that Mayweather will exploit though, it's Berto's ring generalmanship & lack of experience.

Well, it's Mayweather and he always sells, and adding Berto to the spice means that it'll be an American ATG and one of the best of this generation, vs another unbeaten American, a real prospect looking to make it to the big time. So I think it will hit 450K with ease, probably 600K aswell. Maybe up to about 750. But there's bigger fights out there obviously like Pacquiao, Cotto, Mosley, and so I don't think it'll sell as much as thoughs, no way.

    +1

Too aggresive for his own good and most likely would get put away.

Berto lost to Collazo clearly who was blown out by Mosley and blew it against defenseless Hatton. PBF would put a boxing masterclass on his ass and possibly make him quit.

Hope Mosley knocks this HBO hypejob out cold in January.

A win over Mosley and maybe a fight against Hlatshwayo ... to fully unify the division ... that give enough time to make a big fight in the fall ... this is just hypothetically speaking.

Cotto didn't really outbox Mosley as many people think ... Mosley had respect for Cotto early on and when he finally realized that he could take Cotto out ... it was too late ... Cotto had a feeling he was up on the cards and cruise to victory ... he used his jab more and his movement was a bit more fluid, but towards the end Cotto took alot of good shots from Mosley, Mosley just couldn't close the distance.

I'm surprised that only 3 people think that PBF can KO Berto. The feather fisted Forbes stunned Berto a couple of times by simply timing him and when came in. And we all know about Collazo.

PBF being the pin point counter puncher that he is would have a field day with the defenseless and wild Berto.

Berto would give it a good go, he wouldnt win the decision but he'd make it to the end and he'd make Mayweather work for it.
