Give over. Margarito started unusually slowly, and then come on over the course of the fight and pushed him close. I believe I had it 7-5 PW. Hardly 'dominating'.
If you want to call 9 months a particularly long lay off, then fine. At least he was more seasoned than Winky Wright with his 20 months off plus coming from a loss against B-Hops at 170lbs. :hi:
You're a ****ing idiot... William's power is nothing to talk about. He does more slapping than KO punching. He has 6 KO's out of 27 TKO's....hasn't KO'ed a man since 2006....so what power are you talking about? William's just punches at a high rate to the point he can "technically" knock out someone out of the fight. Williams for the rest of his career isn't going to knock someone out flat cold with his punching "power". Ever, That isn't who he is. Williams is an overrated somalian bodied who got exposed by a C+ level fighter in Quintana who wasn't even in his prime against Williams and got boxed up throughout 12 rounds. Yea, Williams got his rematch, but the dude is easy to hit. Williams cannot trade punches...his art of slapping doesn't work unless he's going 100 punches per round. If Williams got exposed by a C+ level fighter, whats going to happen against someone like Cotto? Mayweather? Mosley? Pac? Even guys like Berto....Collazo. I hate Kelly Palvik, but I can't wait to see him punish the "Punisher" The only thing special about Williams is his abnormal anorexia for a man. He's a role model to all anorexic male athletes.
Bernard won a wider points decision on the scorecards than Williams won over Margarito. See how hypocritical you are.. and the fact that he had to go to 170lbs to fight Hopkins and on top of that made a 20month lay off to once again bounce back to 155lbs, tells us all he was nowhere near perfect against Williams. You're just proving yourself wrong here, and showing what kind of hypocritical loon you are.
7-5 is being insanely generous. Rounds 1-6 were undoubtedly PWills and this is consesus; your on kibbles & bits if you think Margarito won 5 of the last 6.
Margarito literally gave away the first few rounds, then when he finally got his groove he pushed and pressed PWill, hurting him to the body and clearly making it close on the scorecards. Even though PWill won, I agree.. but Margarito was in no way dominated.
I'm the hypocritical? lol. Didn't you post a dumb thread saying it should be no excuse as to why Pacquiao easily beat up De la hoya? But i guess it's ok for you to think that but when i mention Williams easily beat Wright, you making excuses cause Wright had a 21 month layoff? lol.
Gave away? Have you watch Margarito fights before he fought Williams? Margarito is known as a slow starter. Watch Margarito fight vs Clottey and you see why.
Vs Williams? Yea but that don't change the fact that before fighting Williams, Margarito is known as a slow starter in which that's a clear cut fact.
