not that ray mancini would beat chavez sr. but i would have liked to see this fight. mancini would have made it interesting for a few rounds but chavez' body shots and overall power would have stopped mancini who was one tough cookie with only a little above average skills.

I think it's great that he's keeping so busy. Boxing would be better if more fighters fought every month. One thing I don't like is young fighters only fighting twice a year. If you're an old dude it's different, but at 23 years old, as long as he keeps gradually stepping up his opposition he's okay.

he won't. you can see a fighters quality, even when he's fighting bums. chavez jr doesn't have ****. no heart, no skill, barely even a ****ing left hook

 

that's a pretty stupid thing to say....if he had no skill he wouldn't be able to beat anybody, you guys act like the kid is a ****en gold medalist or something

 

i think it's way too early to judge julito when he hasn't even been tested yet! what if, he fights someone like john duddy or someone along that line and wins? the fact that he's still undefeated tells me that he does have good qualities as a boxer. how good he can be nobody knows yet and only time will tell. what he needs to do is step it up and see what he's really got.

 

sorry dude, but come on. i just hate he's riding on his dad's name and he hasn't earned sweet **** all. he would have a loss on his record with the "chavez" at the end of his name as well. the hype behind him is unwarranted and that pisses me off

Did you see his last fight?, we were literally laughing out loud here at his opponent. The guy is a tomato can and a fraud, only difference is his father didn't need robberies till he stepped up, this guy needs robberies against tomato cans.

 

that draw was a joke. change the guys last name and watch the losses add up
