Chin is a concerning area with British fighters, now that Clinton Woods has retired.

Mitchell's chin is the one I nominated in the other thread. You can't say he hasn't got first-class whiskers, BB.

    Don't know.....

He was one punch away from being stopped by Carl Johanneson..... and hasn't faced that many good punchers in his career - typical SN fighter in many ways.

A fighter with world title ambitions shouldn't have to use his chin much against the oppo he has faced, Johanneson excepted.

He can take a shot, but calling it first class is an exagerration - having not even faced a second class fighter to date.

Rogans chin seems to be a solid one, his heart is not bad either.

A fair point. I suppose it just sticks out more when you compare it to the other first-class British contingent. He can't keep relying on it, though.

    Yeah I agree with that.

Most of the others, barring Froch, can be considered shaky/vulnerable at best (or untested).

That said, neither Moore or Macklin have had their whiskers tested of late...... no doubt all will be revealed in the near future.

    Or hopefully.

Barker has got a world class jab. shame he has to fight Renda now its a mis match.

hopefully the macklin fight will happen next year, but i see a world title fight for macklin first. fair play to the guy.

should see barker today at football will ask him about it and let you guys no what he said.
