How come when you click on RTE 2 there isn't an option to watch the channel live? Looking at the live schedule, it seems the boxing won't be streamed live:think.

    Hope it's just a mistake.

It might just be a mistake. I looked on the 'Schedule' tab and it says the stream is available worldwide. It's confusing as the tabs say different things at different times:think.

    21:30Pro Box Live
Live coverage of Bernard Dunne's much-anticipated fight to retain his WBA Super-Bantamweight World Title as he faces Thai fighter Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym at the O2 in Dublin
    03:00:00 Worldwide [more info]

EDIT: Wrote that as you responded, Paddy. In that case..................:party. Like you say, we just can't see it at the moment.

Poon is smaller, with short arms and tends to jump in with his punchers when at long range. When fighting at range Cordoba was picking Poon of easily as he jumped in. Its when Poon managed to get in close that he started wearing Cordoba down.

If Dunne uses his brain and skills, stays away at a distance, keeping his man at the end of his jab and counters the littler guy jumping in then he could win this quite comfortably. There will be some hairy moments as Poon is a good fighter with a high guard and decent enough upper body movement but all in all if Dunne fights smart he should win. He may have to get of the canvass mind, but he should win all the same.

The problem is though that Poon is tough so Dunne's fitness needs to be at its peak so as he can fight of the back foot for 12 rounds. He also has to try not to let the crowd effect him and get into a tear up. If Dunne starts trading early i can see him getting stopped.

I have seen a bit of Poonsawat and hes not great by any means, i think Rendel Munroe would easily beat him and i dont think he's anywhere near good enough to outbox Dunne

I know the show starts at 9.30 but what time is this main event due on??

    Cheers pal...

Also those saying that the Thai's record is padded..... There is a win on there that tells me this guy is seriously, seriously dangerous.... Anyone else spotted it?

    Clue: Pat Mullings, Mike Brodie......

This win tells me this guy is for real.

I might have a few quid on the upset.

To be honest it wouldnt be such an upset. The guy is ranked higher then dunne in most lists.
If I wasnt so patriotic I would put money on the thai as he's good odds. In my eyes he should probably be the favourite tonight.
