You think I should sit up and watch Klitschko v Arreola? Will it be good enough?

I'm not sure myself either. I have no booze and my broken nose hurts so perhaps sleep is a good idea.

I'm going to try and watch a stream too, they'll be throwing hard so it ought to be pretty entertaining while it lasts. I reckon it'll go about six or seven rounds.

buildup+ drama + big heavyweights = worthwhile watch.

Put it this way, if you miss it and it's turns out to be a classic then you'll kick yourself. If not, then you just enjoy your lie in tomorrow!!!! cant lose ;)

My philosophy is to enjoy these big fights when they arise! doesnt happen much these days!!!

    Hey, they're heavyweight.

And the great thing about heavyweights is that you never know what's going to happen.

    For example:

Who would have ever predicted that a 43-1 underdog named Buster Douglas would knock out the great Mike Tyson, in his prime?

Who would have ever predicted that an unknown and untested Polish heavyweight would have beat Riddick Bowe (at that time the consensus 1 heavy) from pillar to post?

Who would have ever predicted that Vitali Klitschko would have lasted more than 3 rounds against the great Lennox Lewis?

The list goes on and on, but the conclusion is a simple one: when you are a 250 pound man who can punch, anything can happen.

    Adding to that theme,

This morning I read an article conprised of opinions of 17 of the top boxing writers in the country. 16 out of 17 of them wrote that Arreola would be knocked out before round 9. Only one lone contrarian dared to go against the grain and predict Arreola win. I don't know, but something about popular opinion makes me skittish. I do think Vitali will win, but I don't think it will be quite as easy as many on this board make out.

If you watch this over the internet it's probably not worth it... But then again i hate watching fights on the computer, I don't know how important that is to you though. I think it'll be a good fight at best.
