Vitali has never fought a prime, undefeated heavyweight before... I'm picking Arreola

Sanders floored him, Lewis tore his face to pieces (VITLAY was on the floor in that one too, as I recall) and Byrd made him quit.

I do believe Pele Reid knocked him out too, as did Maskaev, albeit in the amateurs.

Lewis had a decent chin, not great but good. Lewis took far harder shots in his career than VITLAY ever has, that much is fact.

Tunney because he is considered by some to be the first truly scientific HW champ.

Gatti and Ward because they are true warriors.

Pavilk because he KO'ed that fraud, Jermain Taylor.

Adamek because, although limited, he gives 110%...

And you recall that Lewis looked great after the fight with barely a scratch on him

The truth is he was heading into Fernando Vargas territory...

I've seen it a number of times too, Sanders floored VITLAY in the first round. Of course to the Klit-ites it was upsetting so they pretend it never happened.

Why is it biased to say that Lewis took harder shots than VITLAY has taken? Lewis's competition level shits all over VITLAYS, and that isn't me being biased it's me telling the truth.

Lewis took shots from some real power punchers in his career and was stopped twice. VITLAY has fought a collection of average fighters and has been stopped twice - by the only 2 decent fighters he's faced.

Lewis took his fair share of punishment, but was tough enough to work through it and get the win, VITLAY wasn't tough enough and got stopped.

Why not post a pic of VITLAYS face for comparison?

Ah yes, the much whined about rematch :lol::lol:

Lewis didn't lose rematches, period. He retired because the fact is there was no-one left to fight that he hadn't already beaten at that time apart from WALDO who was out of the picture anyway at the time seeing as his career was in tatters and Lewis had just hammered his bigger, tougher brother.

If you call what happened in that fight Lewis being bailed out then I don't know what to say to you, you're delusional. VITLAY was the one that got bailed out, if it had continued he'd have been permanently damaged.

Last I heard Lewis spent most of his time in the Caribbean/Miami, but if you want to grasp that straw then go ahead. He was born and bred in London England, and fought as an Englishman his entire pro career.

And he beat the living **** out of VITLAY, an adopted German. History repeating itself methinks.
