pacquiao destruction of cotto and dela hoya would be more impressive than mosley's win over margarito

btw, just a side comment..... the WW division at this moment isn't strong.....if you compare it with other eras that is.... especially with the '80s

That's no the way to decide who is #1......

DLH does not qualify as a great win for WW..... DLH division was 154 not 147.....

and Cotto, you already reminded me how he got his title.....

What do you think is more impressive????

Hagler defeating Hearns in 3 or Leonard defeating Hagler by decission???

    ^^^hagler over hearns

leonard shy away from a rematch they both fighters deserve

why does ODLH win does count? the fight was at 147

by that reasoning, when was the last time hopkins had a lightheavy win if go by the logic the pavlik win doesnt count since pavlik is a middleweight

The question before was just an example.... you can pick any..... there is no right or wrong.... it can be seen from different angles.... I can argue that Leonard was retired and beat a MW in Hagler, who is considered by many as one of the best MW ever..... I can also add that Leonard was the underdog.... and that Hearns and Duran failed while he had success....etc etc etc.....

You have a problem though..... you mentioned a
    This content is protected
that Leonard did not give to Hagler as a reason to deciding which fight was more impressive, and
    This content is protected
, nor has to do when deciding who is number 1.

To be #1 you have to beat the #1 period..... it doesn't matter if you beat him by decission or by tko/ko.......

    ......is Cotto the number 1????

you asked which is more impressive and most which is a better accomplishment. When ask on which is more impressive, i look mostly in overall ability

and the ability that hagler displayed in the hearns fight is unbelievable. Leonard, however failed to outclass hagler. And the odds might even favor hagler over leonard in the rematch

i have SSM mosley as number 1 for the moment but the pac-cotto winner would eclipse SSM #1 WW ranking come November

as of now, i recognize no one at WW as undisputed champ
