Nice prediction... Was at the fight earlier and have to say this result was on the cards. Most realist were saying that Poon was a threat for the early KO (myself included), but I did have faith in Dunne but alas it was not to be..
Poonswatt comprehensively lost the first round and it looked like Dunne was boxing smart and starting as he meant to go on, unfortunately he fell back into his old mistakes and went looking for a brawl. Round two was probably a draw with Poon probably edging it and then came the devastating round three. I have no idea what Dunne was thinking, he just got dragged into a scrap that he should never of got involved in. The KO was inevitable and the crowd reallly tried there best to keep Dunne going but it was not happening..

Fair play to Poonswatt, he achieved what he set out to do and got the applause and respect from the crowd on the night.
What next for Dunne?? I really dont know, maybe Munroe or maybe a re-match with martinez. Either way, the future aint so bright for the Neilstown boxer, but hey, thats boxing....

Nobody over-rated dunne... If you look thru the threads a lot of the guys were saying poon was a massive threat. We more than most knew the weaknesses of Dunne but the difference is we still supported our man and had a bit of faith.... Nothing wrong with that mate.

well done buddy, you managed to pick out one quote from one Irish fan from about 20 active on this board.....

    Good effort but hard luck..

I'd say 80% of us were realistic that this was on the cards, but still believed in our man if he got his game plan perfect. The other 20% I cannot speak for..

Very bright future. JuanMa and Caballero should be favored against him, but they're gonna move up to FW shortly, so Poonsawat could be the future no1 SBW.
