Vitali is a monster. Really amazing individual.

    Yup :thumbsup

Than in the later rounds like 8-12 he will start some insane power punches.

Vitali is always awesome to watch.

They were almost entirely arm punches but 800 is amazing. It is a lot easier to do this when there is no fear of anything significant coming back at you however. This was like a 12 round sparing session for Vitali. I was a little miffed that every time Arreola got in close and started landing body shots the ref would break them up.

I looked at this again - and it is incredible the speed that Vitaly has when he wants to. There are a couple of times where Vitaly hits and Chris hits at the same time... Vitaly moves his hand incredibly fast back to deflect Chris' punch.

He moves deceptively slow, but is incredibly fast when he wants to be.

In a H2H sense I'm sure most people agree - at least.

In terms of achievements... probably not - but history will write itself.

Impressive punching by Vitali, as usual i'm shouting at the tv ... this time..." for christ sake Arreola throw some punches"...and watch sadly as... Vitali....jab jab ...right hand....Areolla....jiggle jiggle....Vitali jab jab......etc...
How the hell can a 38 yoa Vitali throw 80 punches a round....a 28 yoa Chris only manage 30?.... I mean you could say Chris was trying to.....hell I dont know what he was trying to do..
Its not as though if Arreola went crazy swinging for the hills at Vitali he would have got hit more...since Vitali hardly missed him all night (300 plus times).

No one ages the same. Look at Bernard Hopkins..still able to dominate at his age. Or look ar randy couture in mma....Both in their 40's and still in great shape too. (unlike Foreman was , back when he was still fighting at that age).

Other fighters are shot in their mid-30's even before...(Tyson is a clear exemple...or Mirko crocop )

    You are a stupid hater.

Judges had that as 4-2 for Vitili..... I had it as 2-2-2, that only as a Klitcho fan I had to be fair...
The truth was Lewis was trained for fat sack Johnson, just enough. Vitilie is always in shape and in as good a condition as he can get.
Lewis ran into retirement rather than face him again as promiced...now that is the 100% truth...
Then Lewis kept telling any one who was going to fight the man he ran from how to beat him...in vain hopes that some one beat him would remove his shame of breaking his word.

Leiws won the fight on a massive cut, but lost his championship in that fight. He ran from him, and retired a full year later, rather than face him again.

In my opinion he is one of the five best heavyweights ever - if you consider his skills, ring generalship, smartness, power, shape and physical attributes. If you consider his achievements only, then he is somewhere in the Top 20.

In truth, it seems that Klitschko throws as many punches Joe Frazier and Rocky Marciano. In fact I think he might throw even more punches on average.

So who out of Ali, Louis, Lewis, Holmes, Tyson, Holyfield, Foreman, Frazier, Johnson et al do you hilariously rank him over? Face it, he can never crack the top 10.

Yes, a cut made Vitali lose. Lewis is an ATG and one of his punches produced that cut, so that's fine.
However, there are lots of people who had Vitali in front on the scorecards and considering that Lewis was not in perfect shape he would've been (T)KOd by Vitali sooner or later.
