Coming from someone who is unimpressed with Sonny Liston and his era and thinks that Joe Frazier wasn't a good inside fighter that means a lot. :rofl Go play in traffic dip****.

So you agree or disagree? This shouldn't hurt people if Vitali is so past at it this point.

Vitaly lloked past but there a lot of fighter out there that would had lose to that old vitaly, putting there a Morrison, old Foreman, Conney a a few others are quite patetic. Yes He not looked like He was a few years ago but still looked great.

I don't get what you're trying to say. It's like you're trying to have your cake and eat it too. Vitali looked great and way younger than he is but putting him up at this age against these fighters is unfair? If I picked Vitali's prime most of the people on the list still beat him. Morrison and old Foreman have a better chance then you give credit. Cooney is the biggest oddball pick, I'll admit.

I've just watched the Vitali-Arreola fight on youtube.com, and I think your views on Vitali are naive. Sorry to be so blunt.

Concerning the guys on your list, here's my response to whether they'd beat Vitali (agree = they'd probably beat Vitali; disagree == they'd like lose to Vitali).

Holyfield - agree, but it would be close
Bowe - agree, but it would be a close fight
Morrison - disagree. Morrison stands NO CHANCE against Vitali.
Foreman - young Foreman beats Vitali; old Foreman loses to Vitali
Ruddock - loses to Vitali, but makes a good fight of it.
Tyson - prime Tyson beats Vitali
Holmes - prime Holmes beats Vitali
Cooney - disagree; Vitali would have UTTERLY DESTROYED Cooney
Norton - disagree; Vitali would kayo Norton in a tough fight
Ali - agree; Ali whips Vitali
Fraizer - agree; Frazier beats Vitali in a tough fight
    Liston - agree; Liston wins
Marciano - disagree; cruiserweight Rocky was no match for Vitali
    Walcott - disagree
Louis - agree; Louis is an all-time great
Charles - disagree; too small to beat Vitali
Schmeling - disagree; Vitali way too much for Schmeling

Golota would have been beaten by Vitali. No doubt about it. If you think that Vitali showed no coordination or footwork tonight, then you are blind.

He won only ONE round clearly - the second.

Other than that, all rounds were close and Lennox was on top at the time of the stoppage, sweeping the last round on all cards.

And like I said, Arreola managed to last longer than Vitali did. REMATCH!! :D

    Try harder next time.

    :hi:

Morrison is a bum, foreman is was way to old and slow to even catch and fast moving Vitaly, would had losen all the rounds. a prime Vitaly would have beat a lot of those lighthevyweights that you mentioned there. If fallow the sport and see those old fighter you notice someting they where very overrated, they where only remebered because they where exiting, but much of them are brawlers with not much defence. If you are a very light heavyweight with no defence comming foward against a very big fast skilled Heavyweight with power i think is a no brainer who would had won. Still the Klits style is made to be hate and with this kind of fat Heavyweight is very dificutl to prove a point here so I'm done.

I've been watching the sport for 30+ years, and have on & off been a trainer for 15+. I know boxing.

VITALI HAD AWFUL CO-ORDINATION AND AVERAGE AT BEST FOOTWORK TONIGHT. Believe it. :good

Underrate Walcott, and Marciano. Don't focus on record too much there's an obvious reason as to why his record was that. Schemling can expose a flaw for Louis but not Vitali? Morrison has no chance than Vitali should have literally murdered Arreola. What does Arreola do better than Morrison? Did you think Chris had zero chance?

Again, your boxing views are astounding. Inexplicable.

Vitali was up 4-2 on all three cards after six rounds. He outpunched Lewis 156 to 102. The sixth round was won by Lewis, but it was very, very close. Lewis took it on the strength of his one huge uppercut that hurt Vitali, but which Vitali recovered from.

Lewis collapsed on his stool at the end of the sixth. Vitali was still strong at the end of the end. If not for the cut eye, the fight would have continued, and it is questionable if Lewis would have survived another round.

But Holyfield wasn't too fast for Foreman to make a competitive fight? I guess Vitali is that much faster than Holy.

Oh, that's very enlightening! Overrated and no defense? Like Walcott and Charles. Stop acting like you know what you're talking about. Generalizing old fighters to be overrated. Great way to make your point.

What light heavyweight with no defense?
