...and if not, let me start one.

Just watched the fight on TIVO after work, and damn if he didn't give it his all. Good for you Cris!

251 lbs for this fight. That's what he has to be ashamed of.

Question: How different would the fight have gone had Arreola gone in to the fight fit around the 230 lb range?

Calling bull**** on both of you; Arreola did more than a lot of people thought in hanging in there for as long as he did, taking the best shots from the real HW champ, and keeping on keeping on; this isn't a hate thread; rather it's a thread to appreciate Cris Arreola for giving it his absolute all, which is about all you can expect from a fighter.

Good on him for it, and if everyone fought with that much heart we all wouldn't be pissed about wasting 50 bucks on last week's PPV.

I really don't think it would have gone any different at all... Arreola is not the type of cat who will be showing up with a six-pack; neither is Juan Diaz... But there can be no question that he gave his all. Just like Diaz does.

I mean, I'm not taking anything away from Vitali, but I think Arreola should be given his props for fighting hard. I also think Vitali was right when he said Arreola would be a champion...just not yet.

 Of please. A guy sheds a few crocodile tears and now all the sensitive ****s around here are singing his praise for doing nothing but walking forward and getting his face kicked in round after round.

Get his big flabby ass in the gym and improve his weight and skill set and then maybe I'll start respecting the moron.

Arreola fight hard? , he threw 30 punches around....almost all of which missed. How can you say a fighter fought hard when he does not punch, punching is kinda the point of boxing along with defense, which Arreola also did not have.
I give Arreola credit for taking a punch, well almost 300 of them and still standing, but thats about it.

LoL but all Vitali opponents are only bad after the fight? That's funny. And this is probably his best win. In other words, you admit his resume is bad and that the HW division is lacking. Arreola was rated #1. Unless you argue that that is an undeserved #1 ranking. Which one is it?

And the HW era is so great still! He was the #1 rated fighter.

Vitali opponent only bad after VItali win!! Who am I now? :rofl
