I don't know how anyone who loves boxing can have issues with a great, exciting and fearless fighter like Pac. It seems like Mayweather nuthuggers automatically take as a point of criticism of their man when anyone acknowledges Pac's greatness, and the same thing happens the other way around by the way.
How about just appreciating the whole sport of boxing in all of it's forms and facets, and recognizing how special BOTH of them are? Does it have to be one or the other?

For the record, if they ever fight, i'll pick Mayweather by decision.

there were only 2 lightweight champions at the time, Nate Campbell and David Diaz

its not like Pacquiao had a selection of 4 :rofl

David Diaz was a tune-up/test new weight fight deal. Even a Pac fan with sense would not think it was a great win. Just a good win. It did shown me that Pacman could handle a heavier weight, because he weighed 147 in the ring, which helped me in my prediction he would stop Oscar.

I figured Diaz was nearly as shot as Chavez going into their fight last night. I don't see the big deal about it. Diaz took a brutal beating from Pacquiao, one that went about 2 or 3 rounds too long. That will take whatever **** you had left, right out of you. Diaz has never been some top tier fighter. That's not some new fact or something.

No one thinks David Diaz was a great win. That's your answer. Thanks for bringing up the obvious. Typical Ray Hogan, thinking he's "enlightening" everyone.

Mosley feels the same way i feel in which is why he refuse to fight Williams after Williams called him out many times.

Campbell would be a way better choice and i bet Campbell would easily beat Diaz far easier then Campbell beat Juan.

i think Team Pac learned a lesson...look at what happened to them when they challenged Eric Morales at 130...it was his first freakin fight at that weight and it was against fukin Morales...whoever set that fight up either believes in Pac too much or is an idiot (i think its both)

EM was comming off a onsided beating at the hands of PAC, yet moved up to beat Diaz...IMO. Chavez isn't a great fighter but he's very solid. Diaz won but I'm not sure how much of Diaz is still there after being dominated by PAC. I think it was a good win for Diaz. I just hope he can make some money, maybe grab anther title before his career is over and make chi town proud. I like David...he's just limited.
