Holyfield had a horrible strategy against Bowe. He should have boxed his ears off and he chose to slug instead.

Bowe.. not by a landslide but he did better in a shorter period of time.

The difference in their resumes is in the first win over Holyfield.

Has to be Bowe because of his victories over Holyfield... he beat an ATG twice... Vitali gave an ATG a good fight but couldn't prevent his eye from being split open.

BUT>>>>> Vitali is still in great shape, and maybe he does want to go for Foreman's record.. He can still get ahead of Bowe.

" BESIDES A PRIME HOLYFIELD, Bowe didn't beat anybody that was really good "

Idiot.... I could say "BESIDES an out of shape, past prime Lewis, Vitali never fought anybody that was really good."

    and he didn't even win

So you rate Michael Moorer as a better HW as well?

It was definitely an impressive victory, but I think you have to take Bowe's rapid deterioration into account when you consider his position in all time rankings.
So many people seem to disregard his awful fights against Golota as being because "he didn't train", or "he was shot." They dismiss them as being irrelevant and not really counting.

But, I think it's a pretty big deal. It tarnishes his all time ranking considerably. He didn't demonstrate any kind of longevity as champ and that can't be ignored.

Yeah when the fight took place, fight fans were calling it another "spot pick" selection for Bowe. Dokes was 100% shot.

Bowe's wins against Holyfield top anything on Vitali's resume by a long way.

Why you even bringing Lewis up when Vitali didn't beat him? Ok lets do this since you say "i could say" lets take away Lewis and Holyfield out of resumes, now who has the better resumes Vitali or Bowe?

Yep. I can't believe this is even up for discussion.
