If Haye does get past the hairy giant...and thats no sure thing(but I hope he does). But if he does, the next big hurdle towards a unification fight with either Klitschko would be King Don. He practically owns the WBA strap. He bought them a long time ago. Want proof? John Ruiz!!!! How on earth is he still rated as no.1 by the WBA???? Cos he's a King Don fighter and King Don tells the WBA to rate his fighters. It stinks but thats the sad way boxing has become. Now lets say then Haye beats the giant does King Don really leave himself without options on Haye?? I seriously doubt that. And Haye will also believe the BS talk from King Don - saying that he can make some easy money fighting his fighters - Ruiz etc. See how it goes???
I do not think Haye wil beat Valeuv (I hope he does). I see him panicking in the Valeuv fight much like Barret did, then collapsing from fatigue. If and when this happens, there will be no need for a Klit fight.
As i've said from the very beginning,Vitali would punch Haye senseless inside 4 rounds. It won't be a matter of if he KO's Haye,it'll be more a matter of which round.
David Haye will try and unify the division if he beats Valuev, the reason he bitched out of the Klitschko fight is because he was getting shafted in money. He wants a lot of money, and with the WBA belt, he will be able to ask for tons of money. May'be even a 50/50 split.
I dont think Haye will get a chance to fight either Wlad or Vitali. I have a sneaky feeling that Valuev is going to spoil Hayes party.
That might have been funny if settanta actually existed you ****wit. And for the record Haye will fight a Klit when there is a contract worth fighting for.
I don't see him beating Valuev. I think he'll go out early and try to knock Valuev out, punch himself out and allow Valuev to capitalise. The only person I see being able to knock Valuev out is Vitali.
if haye is smart he'll use holyfield's fight as a blueprint. haye doesnt need to go hard early or at any time - but he does need to be good enough to counter hard and fast and then get out of there to win rounds. valuev wont be busy but i'm not convinced that haye is a good enough fighter (yet) to pull that off. holyfield has terrific composure and selfbelief - and they are two rare things in boxing.
How so? David Haye backed out that he wanted money. He looked at who had ABC belts in the HW division, he saw Valuev who is the weakest one, and now wants to fight him. Plus, an ABC belt will make a fight with Wlad or Vitali even bigger than what it would have been. You're bull**** just STFU.
Holyfield also has an iron chin. While the Russian doesn't look like he hits hard, those jabs combined with his clinching absolutely drain his opponents. I don't see Haye holding up to 12 rounds of that for some reason. I'd like to be wrong, because the Klits need some challengers with a worthy background who have the size of Haye, but I think Haye unfortunately is more talk than substance.
what a crock of ****. The money was NOT an issue and Haye said so himself may times on Sentanta. He also said he wanted BOTH brothers that he needed to fight both to be considered the true champ. He got everything he wanted HANDED to him and he back out TWICE. The blame is on Haye NOT the Klitschkos
that last line cheapened your post. but you're making excuses for someone who wanted to take on the HW division - had a chance against the big boys, backed out and took on valuev as a safer option. thats just the truth - so put your flag down and accept it champ.
