Given that he beat the hell out of his opponents, it's pretty obvious that while his entry was a lucky break, his ability has proven that he was a credible choice.

What is the point of a championship belt? The one point? The single purpose it serves?

To determine the best fighter, when Brock beat the **** out of Randy and Mir, and Mir beat the **** out of Nog, it is absolutely undeniable that Brock is the rightful holder of the belt.

Given what happened in that series of fights, if anybody other than Brock was champion then the championship would be discredited.

Kimbo gets lucky break after lucky break, only to be completly exposed for lacking any real ability, and you cheer for him because he is "just trying to get his bread" (like everybody else isn't?); Brock gets a lucky break and proves he's the best the UFC has to offer, and he lacks credibility despite proving himself as deserving of everything he has.

Kimbo Slice brought a Gun to the Ultimate Fighter Heavyweights training and bought beard insurance

"Kimbo Slice brought a gun to the TUF 10 house and bought insurance on his beard. He was concerned that someone might prank him while he was sleeping and cut it, so he bought beard insurance.

Now for the gun story as told by ****** Wren to TapouT radio,

“He (Slice) went down to ATT to train and he got arm-barred. Kimbo doesn’t like to tap so he didn’t tap and the guy hurt his arm so he came back in there with a gun!”

Wren continued, “He felt the guy was really trying to hurt him so he said if someone is going to really try and hurt me, in my career, that is how my make money for my family, so then he said he went and got a gun and was starting to come back in there and they stopped him at the door . . . that was straight out of his mouth.”

What a great guy, and don't forget. Everytime I write a story about Kimbo I always like to mention that he could knock out the big Ruskie Fedore, if he could ever get Fedor to fight, which he can't. No one who is in the UFC will ever fight Fedor. He is scarred. Scarred I tell you, so there be quite and keep loving your Russian boy, until we send The Invincible Brock Lesnar over to kill him. Kimbo is like a circus act. Might as well have Mr T in the TUF house.

    That's not Scurla's point.

Yeah, in hindsight, he's proven it. At the time, though, he'd proven nothing... same boat that Kimbo's in - a famous personality getting a shot because of that, nothing more.

Kimbo has a Glass Jaw. He is awful. He needs to stick to fighting in Taco Bell parking lots.

Dana White spouted off against Kimbo when he didn't have him because it was the right thing to do. Kimbo was unproven, and with a rival organization. That is just common sense. White also made a statement somewhere along the line that Kimbo could have a shot competing in the UFC if he proved himself capable on TUF. That statement may have been made 2 seasons ago. I'm sure someone here knows.

Kimbo has official wins over Tank Abbott and James Thompson. That may not be a record of greatness, but is does qualify him to compete with the up and comers that TUF is supposed to find. It's not like all the guys on the show have that much a better record.

Some of you guys are still questioning Lesnar. Lesnar defeated Heath Herring in his 3rd professional fight. Herring just defeated Kongo. Shot or not, if the UFC had an official rankings, Herring would have been in its top 5. Before Herring's loss to Lesnar, who deserved a top fight ahead of him? Mir? Mir was already scheduled to face Nog. Nog had previously won the interim championship. Randy Couture only retired as an attempt to leave the UFC to face Fedor. Couture's departure was short lived. Who should Couture face upon his return to the UFC to defend his linear title against? Gonzaga had a win over Crocop. Oh wait, Randy already defeated Gonzaga. What about Mir or Nog? Oh yeah, they were already scheduled to fight each other. What about Kongo, he defeated Crocop too? Oh, Herring defeated Kongo.

Its going to take a miracle for Kimbo to win this thing, but I pray to God that he atleast beats Roy this week. My Kimbo Slice tee has been dusting up in my closet for awhile now and Id really like to sport it again one last time.

Ive also been dissappointed with the fights so far. Abe cant fight for **** and was just laying down while that small dude rearranged his face. Big guy Wes's stamina is absolutely ****, and Mcsweeny isnt as talented as the show made him out to be since both Rashad and Quintin wanted to draft him first.

Kimbo needs to win this week for everything, for his career, the shows ratings, morale for Rampage's team and his fans.

  9. SPOILER ALERT!!!!

I came to the conclusion that Kimbo was knocked out of the competition but it hasn't been televised yet, due to a statement being announced that 'Kimbo will CONTINUE to fight with the UFC' and is set for a November/December PPV.

If he'd have won would there not be some kind of scheduling conflict with this report, with the live finale & such?

Also, if he did win, him 'continuing' to fight with the UFC would not be such a big thing, it would be taken as read.

Roy is no joke..not a world champ, but no chump at all. If Kimbo Looks good in getting beat then that might be reason for the UFC to bring him back. If he beats Roy...then it's a no brainer.

Kimbo gives the result away in a Sherdog interview. Don't read it if you don't want to know.
