After the fight I just saw. If this is the Vitali Louis fights than Louis KTFO him out. His lean forward and lean back defense won't be good enough against Louis.
Louis stops Vitali -- no idea what round. Early rounds Vitali looks good. Sooner or later Joe steps inside of Vitali's long arms with a short combination, probably as a counter, and while the gruff Russian shows a good amount of heart, Louis finishes too well and referee saves a legless Klitschko on the ropes.
If you want my full prediction, check back on page 1. Let me reiterrate: Joe Louis KO 1. It would be a dream of mine to see Vitali try to fight Joe Louis with his left hand down by his waist leaning back to avoid punches. Joe Louis > Right Hand > Connects > follow up combination >>>> TIMMBERRRRRRRRR
Buddy Baer was not only young in his prime, he was also a seasoned world class contender who had defeated multiple Ring Magazine contenders. Corrie Sanders was never rated in the ring magazine top 10 for the first 13 years in his career, was knocked out by hasim rahman, in his only test during that time. Sanders going into the Vitali fight was 39 years old, semi retired golfer, and looked out of shape at 235lb huffing and puffing after 2 rounds. He was a complete one hit wonder. He never beat one Ring Magazine contender outside of the one trick pony vs Wlad. I think it is ludicrous to compare a one hit wonder Journeyman(Corrie Sanders) to a seasoned world class contender(buddy Baer). Only do Vitali fans try to pump Sanders up into a super southpaw phenom in order to cover up for vitali's horribly weak resume. Go Wlad!
