people will resort to anything to tear floyd down. Lets face it he truly is the most skilled fighter of his era, so lets stop villanizing him and reading in to everything he says. I thought it was a really stand up statement for him to make considering how mosley disrespected him. Mayweather cant win in the fans eyes unless he loses. If he fights pac, pac was too small, if he fights shane, shane was too old, if he fights cotto, cotto was ruined by margorito, he cant win, and thats the unfortunate burden of greatness. I think everyone knows floyd is too good and too smart to lose to any of the previously named guys, so all you haters are just gonna have to get over it, he is destined to retire undefeated.

JUST ANNOUNCED: Floyd Mayweather will be fighting flyweight champ Vic Darchinyan to prove he is the best fighter in the world!

The fight will be at a catchweight of 120 lbs, but PBF is contractually allowed to come in a more comfortable 145 lbs if he wants.

"This fight will prove to all of my haters that I am indeed the best fight in the world," said Floyd. Of course, his fans all agreed.

Forget the ****ing past~ we are in the right now, and today if you remove Floyds tee bag from your eyes, you will see that Mosley is a top welter now, so why avoid him whats the excuse?

You say your the best fight and beat the best to prove it, none of this he had his chance this that and the other.

Honestly this is a bitches way out of a fight, you know it, however you like the idea in what he is doing, I think there is a bit of real your not sharing pimp I think the truth is you and Floyd know Mosley is no walk in the park not for one second.

So its easier to duck him and make excuses than to prove your the better man I can dig it, just remember this is how Floyd will be remembered when its over.

Well why won't Shane be remembered for the loose tooth and the vacation statements?

So you're the voice of the boxing public now? The only people that want to see that fight are Pac fans and pbf fans. Everyone else who has common sense knows its a complete mismatch. Real boxing fans, not fanboys who ride on th ejock of their favorite fighter, much like yourself, want to see Floyd fight an actual welterweight...whether it makes 10 million or 1 million. I predict Floyd will not fight Mosley. My prediction is he fights Pac, win or lose against Cotto, then he retires like again. He's got all the talent in the world, bu tlike someone said before he's pissing away his chance to be an atg. No disrespect to Pac, he's a great champion...just not a welterweight champion. But hey, at least he challenges himself.

Pbf is not afriad of mosley! I think he just wants to make the big money fights, pac-pbf will bring in more cash!!!

What is there to be worried about. A 40 year old guy who can't stop a jab who fights flatfooted and easy to hit? The guy has a long history of struggling with boxers. Cotto stylisically matches up much better.

To the guys saying 'he's got a point'.

    Bull****.

To seal legacy you fight the best, you fight the biggest challengers, Mosley is the biggest challenger along with the winner of Pac/Cotto.

And so what if Mosley ducked him, does that make it ok for Floyd to do the same? Not in my book. Shame on Mosley if he did duck PBF but even bigger shame on Floyd for taking the same route. He's too old don't wash with me.

As someone stated earlier this generation has a gifted brilliant fighter who could break the top 15 ATG list, maybe even higher, but choses to **** it away because gullible fans will pay to see him fight guys who don't deserve a shot.

Beating Mosley won't change his status, it adds, but people will say Mosley is old. No credit either way u see it. I'd rather see him fight Cotto.

Because in boxing people remember your actions what you have done in the ring not what has happend on the business end, People will remember and respect shane for his wins over DLH and his big win over Margarito a guy Floyd ducked.

if its so easy then take the fight and the title that comes with it, my question is why do you endorse and promote ducking? this sport is not about that this sport is about being a risk taker, and you have the nerve to say some people here dont know this game:nono

To simplify, all PBF's fan club on here criticise Mosley for ducking 'He had his shot' etc, yet when Floyd is taking the same route he gets a pass 'Mosley had his chance'. Complete double standards.

Floyd is the one who can raise his level of greatness to one of Top 10/15 ATG with the Mosley fight helping thus in that position he should take the fight. Mosley was never in the position Floyd is.

    That better?
