If he trained his ****ing heart out and kept himself in shape between fights, he would be a LOT better off. Sorry for not sugar coating ****.

He needs a trainer who will teach him to move his head, but what he needs more than anything is some personal discipline to reinvent his approach to this game. The heart and will is there already.

He lost any chance he had of winning this fight at the gym.

I agree with you. But anyone who wants to see Cris do good wants to see him learn from this and fix the issues that lead to his disappointment. Boxing also takes dedication.

I appreciate his heart, but thats what they all say. They eliminated Calvin Brock and I don't believe this guy will be the exception. The truth hurts sometimes. What his he coming back to, What to get beat by Wlad. If he is serious he's going to have to come in at 230 pounds and work on his endurance. You have to pressure the Klitchkos in order to stand a chance at beating them. History shows that they dislike pressure. How is he going to sustain pressure when he is out of shape. 250 pounds come on Chris you gotta bring it the next time. Hopefully he remember his pain and takes it out on everyone else. And please if you get a chance, don't stand on the outside like everyone else when fighting a Klitchko.

So did I. He stayed in there and took a real pummeling beyond what I expected him to. I wonder if he will ever be the same after that.

I don't believe he wanted to continue any further. He did not protest the stoppage because he knew it was a matter of time.

VK was getting stronger and pressing matters more. He was starting to put punches together and they were hurting Cris. They just kept Cris from going out on his back by stopping it.

Man this is the kinda thing that makes boxing such a special sport for me. In every other sport what is a champion made of? He's a guy that won'f stop running until the last play even when he's losing....In boxing a champion is a guy that won't stop trying even if it means putting his life in danger. Although both admirable...the two just don't compare.

Well done chris, you got nothing to be ashamed of:good

    That was tough to watch.

As said before, it's harder to have sympathy for a fighter who isn't always professional in his preparation.

It's not easy watching a grown man cry (especially a big fat one), and especially since he apologized to the fans a couple times. I feel bad for fighters when they apologize to the fans for "letting them down" after losing.

Actually during the ring-walk with all the fans cheering Arreola loudly, I was enjoying the moment (I was at the fight) but at the same time, I felt sort of bad for Arreola with the weight of all these fans on his shoulders and the fact that I felt he had such a slim chance of winning.

it would have meant more to me if he would have at least been competitive , yes hes tough, yes he kept coming forward, but when you get beat down and shut out, he might want to come back...but he might want to try the WBA title, because hes not gonna beat either of the Klits.....
