Prime George Foreman and the Foreman who fought Holyfield
    Riddick Bowe
    Lennox Lewis
    Mike Tyson

Would Arreola last as long as he did against Vitali with out being knocked down?

I suspect that he could do rather well against 38 year old greats who had taken long layoffs.

Last night shoed Vitali isn't a big puncher. More accumaltive. Sparking Danny Williams and Herbie Hide does not a big puncher make.

I like Arreola. He just got in way over his head last night. Vitali doesn't load up on his punches like he used but he took alot of punshiment and huge shots that as Vitali admitted would have put down most. If his confidence isn't too wrecked, he can hopefully get back into decent shape and stay a tough fighter. Not the smartest fighter but he's a durable volume puncher with quick hands and a big heart..can still probably be competitive or beat anybody not named Wlad or Vitali in today's division.

He would be an underdog against all four fighters but noone is having too easy of a night with him. Few are going to sustain Vitali's workrate like last night. Though they should be favored, streaky brawlers like Holyfield or Bowe in particular could have some tough wars with him. Too easy to hit for Tyson maybe. Would have the best shot at overwhelming an old Foreman but his lack of defense and balls out aggression could see him get sparked.

I still don't know if the Vitali-Hide knockout punches even landed. Danny Williams on the other hand was bounced off the canvas numerous times yet he lasted into the 8th.

Vitali is definitely not a huge one punch knockout puncher.

All except possibly old Foreman would take out Arreola faster than vitali did mainly because they are fighters who go more for an early KO than Klitschko is. Plus they would be in their primes something that 38-year old
vitali no longer is. And Arreola wouldn't win a round against any of them.

Very Hard to say...Vitali did the same to Gomez and Peter...its a you cant hit me but I can hit you type of fight and weird punches from all angles....I think Areola has a much better shot of landing on Bowe who got hit early but Bowe would go right at him too..so it could end quicker or Bowe and the others could fall into Areola's type of war...so far Areola has shown a good chin so his chin may be able to nutralize the big punchers and give Chris a chance to punch back...I think time will tell how good Chris is but one thing is for sure, you must be in good shape to get into great shape, the Klitschko's maintain good conditioning

Against Riddick Bowe he'd probably be TKO'd a little earlier. Lennox would knock him out before the sixth round. At most he'd go 2 rounds against Tyson.

Lennox/Tyson within 2 rounds. Bowe/Holyfield a fair bit longer, probably similar late TKOs to the Vitali fight but maybe quicker

Vitali fights as well, or better, than he ever has up to this point. How can he not still be in his prime?

Vitali hasn't had many fights and he hasnt been hit often against the trash he faces off against. Vitali is still in his prime and took what 10 rounds to get a bum out of there? I know Arreola is garbage. I made this thread just to show how overrated Vitali's power is. I never seem knock out a heavyweight clean. It is always a TKO after 10 plus rounds of punches. Arreola wouldnt make it out of 1 rounds with a prime Foreman, Bowe, Lewis, or Tyson unless they let him make it out.

    Well, let's see...

A 38-year old Bowe arguably lost to Billy Zumbrun.

A 38-year old Lewis... well, retired.

A 38-year old Tyson quit to Danny Williams and later to Kevin McBride.

Yeah, I'd say Areola has a shot at lasting long stretches with any of them.
