Rate Munroes power

    im fed up of reading about munroe's non existent power, hes no big puncher but hes big for the weight and has respectable power despite not sitting down on his punches:smoke

    what are you basing this on?? Seriously mate.....Yeah he's physically strong at the weight, but that does not translate to punching power.

    im baseing it on the fights ive seen him in, 3 is a little harsh i must say, also size does translate to power if you turn over your punches correctly

    Size at the weight has nothing to do with it. It's about punching technique. He can't punch, he hasn't knocked any notable fighters out, and you can just see by watching him he pushes a lot of punches and rarely lands cleanly on the chin. He's a work-rate type of guy.

    So if this is a scale, and Julian Jackson type power is 10 you are saying Munroe is 7?

    5 is a nice number.

    Wait till he gets another 5 or so fights on his record to really judge his power.

    Dunne has very little power but if he farted in Dunne's direction he would KO the Irishman.

    Probably because all the Irish boxing fans nuthug him?

    I tried searching on Youtube the other day for any footage of Munroe. All I found were interviewers and his against Trotta.

    No one is disputing Dunne's dodgey chin though, this is a thread started by a Munroe fan to get a dig in at Dunne.

    Dunne's chin is fragile against big punchers but don't ever try to tell me that Munroe has more power.
