I really think it's sad that everybody pokes fun at Audley because he "has no heart". If he had no heart then why the **** would he keep getting in the ring and putting himself up as a target for ridicule by internet warriors such as your good selves? (I hear he's just as concerned about your careers as you are about his by the way). The man's got heart make no mistake about that. Think about this... honestly! What would you guys do if you were a boxer who failed to match as a pro the remarkably high standards you'd set for yourself as an Olympic Gold Medalist and had become a target for national ridicule in the way this fella has? You'd run and hide. Maybe enjoy regaling your friends with your tales of Olympic supremacy and enjoy spending your million earned from the BBC. Say what you like about Audley, but he's got heart alright... and the courage of his convictions. He doesn't need the money. He's fighting through the unprecedented adversity that he is because he loves boxing and is convinced that he can still achieve his goals. ****, he probably never will achieve the World Championship, but who cares? He's the very life blood of this sport. A man who keeps believing and keeps getting through those ropes no matter what.
i agree with the basic premise of what you're saying but are you taking the **** with "he is the very life blood of the sport." i think you may have been on a roll with the keyboard and got carried away slightly there, but yes, he will become a heroe and set us all free, standing up to injustice, and battling evil where ever he may find it. Abit like batman but he wont hide his identity from us, because we are all audleys chlidren.

Hes just easy to make fun of because of his failure to be the next Lewis... hes stilla decent boxer, and i do hope he wins Prizefighter.
i like the fact audley keeps trying and i dont think when a boxer has lost a few fights he should pack it in, and i would be happy for audley if he wins prizefighter but describing him as the life blood of boxing is a bit strong .he has not fought since last december the type of fighters i would describe as the life blood of boxing are active boxers that are the named opponents such as delroy spencer and in the past fighters such as seamus casey,winston burnett and peter buckley
Me too, If only because he shows more heart than most of us keyboard warriors on here who have never had the privilege of stepping between the ropes and facing our fears. Audley has heart and anybody who says otherwise is sadly mistaken.
