Same fight. Moore has the defence and durability while sharpshooting down the run. Macklin has become more intelligent so he could get it with tenacity. His defence was frightening bad the first time round. Actually, he could take it.
Moore wouldn't want to go up to middleweight, why would he have to? He's doing great at light middle and will show even moore :deal once he has beaten Rhodes.
Mate, moore has posted a few posts before yours explaining that it would make sense if they keep on winning and the money was right. Thats a rematch if i've ever seen one.:good
Sylvester and Sturm don't impress. I'd love to see Macklin mix it with them. Light Middles haven't set anyone alight either so I'd like to see Moore mix it with them too.
Moore has said previously he would go to middleweight for a big fight. If Moore was to become a two weight world champions that adds to his legacy and puts him up there with an elite class of british fighter, top 15 of all time. it would also be the biggest fight cash wise for the two.
If both guys annex a world title it would be a mega fight, let's hope it happens. Moore won convincingly enough last time for me, he'd do it again. Bit too savvy, controlled and composed for Macklin.
Macklin knew he(himself) was drained at the weight and had to try getting moore out of there. Moore is/was too good a fighter to fall for them tactics. I think moore is the better fighter but not up at middle where macklin will be even stronger than last time. You mention he would be too savvy ? I speak to macklin now and again and i mentioned to him about moore talkin to him in the ring and what he was sayin. Macklin smiled and said yeah he was saying " your getting tired now mate".Sounds like he was reading everything macklin was doing under all the pressure and was just waiting his turn.Cute fighter
