What an acting shitbag Robert Allen was in that fight, disgusting.

 

Oscar/Ike was a great fight, really important because it opened up alotta permutations in the welterweight division as top guys weren't fighting eachother, whatever people say about DLH the dude was super competitive, fought the best and has heart, just look at the final round of that fight.

I think Ike won the fight btw.

DLH/Pea is interesting too. Whitaker was old and on crack and still outboxed De la Hoya

Just misses out on my top 10 fights of all time. Marco Antonio Barrera wasn't expected to win this fight given how Manny Pacquiao had demolished him in '03. Morales had been much more consistant, becoming a three weight world champion, and his only loss was the controversial decision in the second Barrera fight. The odds were more than 2-1 in favor of Morales. Sometimes the odds are wrong, and this was one of those occasions.

Barrera's left hand was working over time. Little to no body attack, but the hooks and jab were landing all night long. Morales stepped it up midway through by timing Marco's jab with the overhand right, and just doing a little bit more work here and there - but it was too late. A fantastic fight, very competitive, and one of Barrera's greatest performances of his career. Great fight.

was as good as the first fight which was a classic. Both guys showed heart and skills but Arguellos left hook at the end was scary

 

Just watched a documentary on youtube on Benny Lynch, very humbling, tragic story, but fantastic boxer

Good fight,Viruet gave a good account of himself but not as good as in the first fight.

Sergei Liakhovich-Shannon Briggs.

Haven't seen it in a longtime if ever since it aired.Dreadfull,terrible,disgusting are worsd to describe it and altough people blaim Briggs for the lackluster fight Liakhovich was just as much to blame.The ending was very good but still didn't compensate the fight.Hope Liakhovich somehow comes back.
