Does anyone think Valuev will knock out Haye?

I have a few friends who are sure, down to his pure size, that this has a strong possibility of happening.

I just dont see it when you consider the following:

His last two fights have been very dodgy decisions to fighters who are no bigger than Haye.

Valuev lost to a guy no bigger than Haye

And lastly.... As big as he is, Valuev has only genuinely knocked out two people in the last seven years!

    Any thoughts?

One punch from Valuev is all it will need to KO Haye. Hopefully Haye lands a few first.

its certainly a possibilty. but if haye gets his tactics right, he will win.

I think the point I am trying to make is that as big as he is, if you look at his record, you wouldnt say he was a big puncher.

He's not a big puncher but pretty much any heavyweight has a KO punch in his arsenal. That being said, I can only see a Haye UD happening here (not taking into account a possible robbery).

  6. Highly unlikely. Unless Haye runs straight into a big swinging right hand with his eyes shut and his chin in the air.

He isnt a big puncher no but NK doesn't need to be anyway. Haye cant handle massive shots. He was put down by Mock and was hurt when Barret got that cheap shot in against him.
Its a 50/50 fight and it will answer a few questions about Haye: Will his stamina hold up for 12: will his movement and foot speed be up to scratch and how much of a shot can he take - looking forward to it. Valuev could KO Haye but if the same NK turns up who fought Holyfield i see Haye winning

I think Haye has to fight the fight of his life to win this, and get his tactics spot on. Valuev's odds are great at the bookies.

Haye can not handle any shots from any heavyweight which will be a worry.

If any 310Lbs man gets his weight behind a shot and times it he can pretty much take anyone out

Think haye is as likely to ko valuev as other way round. Not a haye nuthugger (would take both klits and arreola to beat him) but bottom line he can fight valuev can't really. There's noway Haye should lose. Can really see his explosive right hand taking giant out when he gets tired in last third of fight.

  13. That's a bit harsh.

He handled Bonin pretty convincingly and wasn't in any real trouble against Barrett either.

Mormeck put him down (at cruiserweight) momentarily but he recovered well.

I think the jury is still out on Haye's ability to take a punch at heavyweight.

Haye has been put in horrible situations by people who naturally half the size of Valuev. It makes one wonder.

Yep. Haye has awesome talent and will hopefully use this and be successful but Bonin is far from being in Valuevs class and Barrett had Haye very very worried for a few seconds but luckily Haye did what had to be done and won again.

I do not think the jury is out at all. We all know what will happen if he gets hit. The big question is if he can jump back up and win the fight.
