A better list of possible match-ups for Butterbean would be

    Kevin McBride
    Tom McNeeley
    Sedreck Fields
    LaMar Clark
    Prime Louis Monaco
    George "Scrap Iron" Johnson
    David Jaco
    Marion Wilson

I have seen alot worse threads than this one. Any thread involving Marciano beating guys like Foreman, Frazier, Ali, Bowe, Lewis, or Tyson makes this thread seem like the best one ever made.

If Butterbean could land on the likes of Floyd Patterson he would knock him out. Archie Moore also had a weak chin and a natural 160 pounder. Moore of course is a better fighter but if a 300 pound man connects against him then he loses. He was knocked out by lesser fighters.

A prime (if he ever even had a prime) Butterbean was stopped in two rounds by 1-7-1 Mitch Rose.

He is not beating anybody better than Peter McNeeley.

Oh, she's talking about a PRIME Butterbean? Well that changes everything, a PRIME bean knocks all of them out

He actually knocked Peter McNeeley out in one although that was a "past prime" McNeeley.

Butterbean would have problems with McNeeley Sr.

    Forgot about that,

When I think of Peter I think of the gutesy effort he gave Tyson. Sure it was stop in 1 round(A bad call on the corner's part imo)

But Peter did give Tyson a good scrap for how long it lasted. I was shock that Peter took Tyson's punchings as well as he did(He did get knock down, but he also got up evey time, which can be said than most people that got knockdown by Mike)

I give this Peter a good shot of beating Butterbean.

Now the Peter that DID fight the Bean was on the slide of couse.

McNeeley had a prime? Pre and post crackhouse McNeeley is more like it.

His prime lasted about the 30-40 seconds that he stood upright in between the two knockdowns against Mike Tyson.

Archie Moore would beat that 300lb Bean to death and make it look easy

First off, gotta say: cut the ****ing ****. When a woman says something dumb, it still deserves to be called dumb. You don't deserve a free pass because of your anatomy anymore than I deserve to be automatically considered more competent or knowledgeable than a woman because of mine. Even though I think the tone in the first couple of responses was needlessly harsh or confrontational, (and no, that's not because you're a woman) it wasn't any different than it would have been if you were a guy. Either deal with it or find someplace else to discuss boxing.

That side, I'd be willing to take all those guys over Buttbean. It would take a hell of a lot of luck and be about the next step or two down from a Douglas-Tyson upset for him to beat any of them, even the smaller guys like Moore.

You're right. The responses were harsh and not nice at all. And yeah, I think I will move on and find a better site to discuss boxing. All this rudeness is NOT nessesary. Remember that God does not like ugly. Goodbye.
