  1. Im praying williams cos on his day the guy is a real force, just lacks there drive to take him to the next level, after watching the guy fight with 1 arm and ko the guy and watch him get up some many times after vitali kept hitting him. The guy has heart and a punch, if he got himself in a decent condition he could a decent fringe fighter, Just not looking forward to the a-force coming out with some philosophical drivel after losing in the first fight. Thoughts...

I think we need to look beyond Williams and Harrison.

I'm not convinced Williams is going to get anywhere. I think he gets shaken relatively easily these days and intensity isn't his favourite thing to deal with in the world. With some of these younger kids, they'll be all over him all of the time and think him being favourite over the 3 rounds is asking too much.

Harrison is ****ing plain lazy. I haven't seen him put anything together with intent since he pulverised a severely out of shape and exhausted Danny Williams when there was nothing coming back donkeys years ago. He'll try to be too cute and will easily drop 2 rounds to somebody in his first or second fight.

Look for somebody else to win because backing Williams or Harrison at evens is no value at all.

Sprott was my pick to win it, but I'm not so sure who will now that he's pulled out.

Williams will be the bookies favourite, but I've got a feeling he won't do it. I don't think the three rounds will suit him

    well said Losfer

i don't give a rats arse about this junk, its disgusting how its been forced down our throats and hearing casuals talk about this like its the be all and end all, one of the sky muppets called it a division, some think this is the most prestigious thing to win in boxing.

like i've been saying for months, this **** is *******ing our sport, creating and encouraging a culture of even lower attention spans and perhaps more crucially glorifying violence instead of the sweet science and giving the casuals a different expectation of boxing and trust me its not a good one.

Absolute rubbish. You can take it or leave it. Everybody knows that this is just a bit of something different. I liken it a bit to rugby where I'm a big fan of the traditional XV a side game but dislike watching 7's. But 7's is very popular to a more global audience than the 15 man game is. Stadiums in the USA, Dubai, Tokyo, Hong Kong etc get packed out off the back of it.

If Prizefighter gets some casual boxing fans in through the gates... so what? It will never ever be the same as a traditional 12 round fight.

We have 4 round fights, why not 3 in a knockout round scenario?

    You bunch of moaning twats...

This is good for British Boxing, and i am looking forward to it.

Ive heard more talk about this Prize Fighter, than any other Prize Fighter..

I think it's going to be a massive success...

I'm cut down the middle on this one, ive always been a supporter of Danny Williams...but he has frustrated and pissed me off in the past. I just hope, he comes into this comp..in shape and ready to rumble.

    I have always said it..

Danny Williams is our most talented Heavyweight since Lennox Lewis, there is not question about his talent/ability/heart. Just how he applies himself within his preparation and in his actual fights.

Audley Harrison, i just respect someone who sticks to the course..no matter how many critics and haters he has.

    I mean..

    If Danny Williams wins this..

Is he gonna disappear and comeback out of shape again..?

Or will he capitalise on his success...

    If Audley Harrison wins....

I kind of get the feeling, he's not going to disappear and comeback out of shape.

'Most prestigious thing to win in boxing'. Who said that? They deserve a slap. Its a bit of fun, so what? Its not like these guys are real world title challengers let them have their moment in the sun.

Some of these guys in the competition get some recognition as well - who the **** was Rogan before he was in it? Now he is the main attraction on bills and selling out arenas. Martin Murray - was practically an unknown, now with Hatton promotions and on the verge of a British title shot etc.

    Audley.

His skills, size, speed, southpaw stance, the long jab, it all equates to being a very tough package to overcome over a 3 round distance. Those are attributes that serve you well early on, only when he tires and lets his opponents close distance is when problems arise. Frankly that shouldn't happen over this format.

It's possible Williams could just outdesire him (if thats a word), like Rogan did, but I dunno. Williams looks pretty shot, I wouldn't be surprised if Audley hurt him.

  11. Mate ill take your opinion on board, but take this on board.

Boxing is slowly dying due to **** promoters and the **** load of different paper belts, anthing that raises boxings popularity must be good for the sport. i agree that is sub-standard and the fighters are low-level but it gives these guys a break. it must be heart wrenching being a pro who's getting no breaks as theyre proabably seen high risk low reward, at least they will get theyre profile raised. Look at rogan who won, he beat the euro champ and has gone on to win a few bob and fulfil some dreams. dont be a hater mate be a fan!:good

Scott Gamer will shock everyone by turning up.

Audley to win because he is the only guy who can go on and achieve something in his career. Williams to be KTFO for being a twat.

Yeh Barry Hearn is the big winner. Better to be born lucky than good looking.

I got a feeling Gammer is going to spoil the Harrison vs Williams party.
