If we were to repeat the big Don King/Ali shows with today's stars

I disagree, because there is no boxer in history and arguably no Athelete ever(Jordan maybe) to be known on a world wide scale like Ali.

People in remote parts of the world with no tv and no real connections to the outside world knew who he was.

He was in the political spotloght when he refused to go to Vietnam and he was a member of the Muslium faith which has 100's of millions of followers in over 150 counrtyies world wide. It's tough to find two fighters that could top that....



My Rumble in the jungle would be Aaron Pryor VS. Sugar Ray Leonard...cause they should've foght and never did.

Or a Prime Riddick Bowe VS. Lennox Lewis

 

IMO, Jordan is a bigger star than Ali, but your belief is false. Tyson's status was known world wide.

No disrespect but how old are you? I understand that TV and the internet changed a lot of things, but you had to be growing up in the 60's to truly appreciate and understand what I'm saying. Ali was as big as Jordan without all of the benefits to modern technology. I'm from Chicago and Jordan is my favorite athlete of all time but Ali was more than a sports figure to people.

I'm not trying to make this a debate about who was bigger Jordan or Ali, I'm just saying you wiil be hard pressed to find a fighter with the Global appeal that Ali had.

I know it's hard to believe but Ali was bigger than Tyson....

I am younger than you by alot... lol I admit that Ali is bigger than Tyson. In my opinion, Jordan is still bigger than Ali just because of technology. I'm not trying to argue it's just my opinion. Anyway my point is Tyson's popularity was world wide as well.
