Sorry my post was a bit harsh but let me explain:

The future of the sport of boxing is more important than any individual & I was a bit embarrassed for Arreola when he could barely say a sentence without the word "****" in it. I'm doing my part in introducing the sport to my son & his friends who are all 7-8 year old kids who were like :admin every time Chris opened his mouth. The sad part is my son was like "that guy's really taking a beating but he's not quitting."

You never had any respect for him to start out with so who gives a ****, I agree with Goosen, what the **** are you moving away for your supposed to be a champion why do you need to clinch for no reason?

I am sorry but that much clinching is against the rules there is no reason Vitali should have been allowed to just grab him for no reason on the inside with out lossing points.

RUSKULL explain this, how is it Vitali had the balls to bang it out with Lewis but didnt have them to bang it out with Chris here?

Great post. A champion should conduct himself with class - in and out of the ring. Arreola is not ready to be a champion nor will he be ready any time in the near future. His priorities seem to lie in eating more so than training.

Your right a Champion should also Never quit during a fight and give his title away for free especially when there is only a couple rounds left to go.

A true champion will take his loss like a man and give the other fighter his due, not stand there stomp his feet like a little girl with his eye falling out of his face while screaming no......

Only to turn around and basicly stalk Lennox Lewis after Lewis has retired and keep calling him out for a rematch when its clear as a bell that Lewis is happy being retired and has had his day.....

A true champion always shows class in and out of the ring.......:deal

They say you can only cry over the truth and get angry over the lies.
Didn't see any tears this time.

Clinching is only part of the sport when you must protect yourself, basicly when you have been buzzed, he was clinching alot, Lederman and his daughter know this sport his daughter is an official judge ring side, his pointing it out is from a judges perspective while Lampley and Merchant will under play the facts becuase they are speaking from a fans perspective.

They both love the klitschkos so much so that after Vitali fought Lewis I beleive on either the sanders or the johnson undercard Merchant suddenly his family was from the Ukraine:roll:

Vitali had several serious injuries, which cost him almost four years of his prime boxing time. So he became a bit more reluctant to get a serious injury. Arreola has a reputation for his power. Vitali even did not punch full power, since one of his losses came from hitting so that hard he ruptured a shoulder.

The greatest war Vitali fought in his life, he lost to a cut (Lewis). Why should he repeat the same mistake? And he learned from Wladimir, too. His brother is not getting hit at all, winning all the time. Why not do the same?

The injuries are a great reason that he may be fighting that way, but if they are that serious he should retire, fight fans deserve better than the saftey first type of fighters especially when the fighter already has every advantage going in size reach experience etc......

I am sorry but that un nessesary clinching pisses me off it degrades what a Heavyweight champion or any champion is supposed to represent.

I suddenly don't feel bad at all for ridiculing Arreola now for whining like a little ***** after the fight... Funny how that works...

VitKlit rarely clinches there might have been 15 in the whole fight if that many. I don't know what fight some of you were watching.
