That's true. In that case, we should treat Butterbean with more respect.

 

With due respect, but gender really shouldn't come into this. A thread should stand or fall on it's own merits.
That said, you have my respect since you're one of the few women who actually talk boxing on this site, and don't just hang about in the lounge talking crap most of the day. :good

The only way Butterbean could have been a serious contender was at the start of his career,if he'd got in proper condition. He's probably a light-heavy or cruiser under all that padding,and learnt the rudiments of boxing properly. Come to think of it,Tony Galento should have done the same thing.

I have seen Butterbean fight a few times and just took another peek at his boxing record so far. It is safe to say he would lose to those 8 fighters you mentioned...in my opinion, of course!

Butterbean does seem to have a decent punch. However, his ability to deliver that punch effectively against high quality opposition seems to be rather limited. I do enjoy seeing him fight...it's fun to me!

 

He was a **** fighter, but he could definitely crack. I'll give him that.

 

We'll discuss an omnipotent being when we can get past you having the common sense and intelligence to carry a earth borne conversation.
