Looks like a first year CAD student made the website for these jokers. Fair enough you need a launch, but for £13 I do expect a bit more than two fights. Setanta was great value, only spoiled by their idiotic obsession with football that finished them off.

You no that Sky wanted to put Froch vs Pascal as the UK leg of the Hatton vs Mallignaggi PPV.

After that the Taylor fight would of been Sky Box Office along with his next 3. Leaving sky was the worst thing Hennesey could have done.

This is a joke. I aint buying it. Not because I refuse to buy PPV but because this isnt worth it. Froch is not a star and his team have no idea on how to make him a star. He could win the whole thing and still wouldnt be a star in the UK. This should be on sky and sky would of marketed and pushed this tournament. Now its on some bew channel which nobody will give a damn about.

I've never heard that before but even if it is true, you can't blam Hennessy for putting Froch-Pascal on ITV1 as opposed to PPV

I don't think anyone disagrees that the concept will fail in terms of providing the revenues that Hennessy is looking for.

For those people who are interested and sufficiently addicted to know where to find it, £13 is not actually a bad price for what is on offer all things considered.

So much ****ing negativity before an advert has been shown or anything. Give them a chance lads. I completely understand those not wanting to pay for it and to go for a free stream. As I've said I detest streams - unless your machine is souped up the nine's - it's ****.
It's the way of the boxing world these days. To be honest I'm just glad that these fights are going to be on my television and I can't ****ing wait. What a night it's going to be. £6 per card - that'll do me very nicely.

And I hope Primetime do a stellar job.

Well that depends on what is on offer afterwards. The days of ITV being a real player in terms on boxing on tv are way gone.

I agree, I'm quite happy with the situation. Athough far from ideal, at least I get to watch it on my widescreen, with a decent picture, instead of squinting at some crap picture on a computer screen.

I can't see Hennesey winding up Hennesey promotions, not paying Froch what he is owed and starting the brand new, 'completely unrelated' Mick Hennesey Promotions though, can you?

I don't get me wrong, from a personal point of view this news has very little impact on me but its def. a MASSIVE missed opportunity to help get boxing back into spotlight in this country.

The Super 6 is now marginalized to the usual boxing diehards when it could have been a real crossover event to draw in the casual sports fan and get people talking about boxing again.
