The simple fact is that Pavlik has been hit with full-blown atomic bombs from fighters that could probably lift Paul Williams up with their little finger, and Williams wasn't even a big puncher at 147. Pdub would have to hit Pavlik with an iron bar to do any damage.

Look, KP is strong but he can be knocked down, maybe not knocked OUT, by a less then big puncher if the punch is fast and well placed, as demonstrated by Taylor. That was a legit big knock down by Taylor and you cant deny that. To think Paul cant do the same and KP has an indestructible chin is silly.

Can you please explain then how not a big KO puncher like Taylor knocked him down and had him hurt??

The assumption that PW can easily out-box KP is common, and it is also silly. Paul is wide open to Kelly's 3 best weapons, and Paul is notoriously inaccurate. That combination makes out-boxing Kelly rather unlikely.

Looks like a big looping fast left. Hmm...looks like something Paul has in his arsenal of weird punch angles.

Would you say this fight is now 50-50 ?

Theres also more to follow that 1st knock down up where KP was in trouble. Again, by the BIG POWERFUL PUNCHING Taylor (sarcasm).

Never thought or said wasnt 50-50, thats why its generating interest. Im just leaning towards Paul from what I have seen out of both. KP has all the ability to come back from a flash knock down or severe knock down and go toe-toe with Paul. But to think Paul cant hurt or knock down KP as some have suggested, not accurate based on what Taylor was able to do to him early on in the 1st fight. Since then, the guy hasnt fought anyone and/or lost.

pavlik won't go to sleep and you talk nonsense .
if williams will win at all it will be by decision.
pavlik , however , has the chance to stop williams.
maybe miranda is not too good fighter , but still a reasonable one at least , and stopping him means something. if pavlik stopped him , mckart and taylor then he also has the chance against the much less massive williams.
who will win is a hard question , but your prediction is ludicrous.

I didn't say you ever thought or said it. I was just asking after I posted the clip of Fulgencio Zuniga dropping Pavlik, if it had any impact of how you looked at the upcoming fight. You know Zuniga started at 154 and had just moved up prior to moving up to fight Kelly.

i disagree. besides the 2nd quintana fight, pauls never shown to have any type of big power. we saw how kelly pavlik was only dropped by taylor after eating taylor's best shot in a long consecutive sequence; the same taylor that dropped froch with a single shot. in addition, pavlik ate a lot of shots from Hopkins, the same Hopkins who has a hell of a sneaky powerful right and was able to drop both Tarver and Calzaghe; two guys with pretty good chins. I'd rate kely pavlik's chin to be very good. combine that with the fact that paul isn't a big power hitter, chances of him getting stopped, especially within 8, are low.

I just needed to know that Taylor, who is not a big puncher, had him in big trouble with punches that were nothing special, but were fast and he didnt see coming. So KP is not iron chined and Paul has enough power, but more importantly speed/reach and odd angle shots, to catch KP. Maybe and probably not KO him, but certainly can knock him down. More likely that would be TKO if any kind of KO by Paul, from multiple punches following a knockdown that KP gets up from that he may not be able to answer. Otherwise, I think Paul has all the tools to outbox this guy to a decision.
