Is that the excuse, I mean reason, that Pavlik couldnt blow out Taylor the 2nd time around? Just like the excuse, I mean reason, that he was sick vs BHOP? Lots of excuses, I mean reasons. Isn't injury to your hands, face, ribs, head--all part of the fight and boxing? 1 too many reasons for Pavlik in this fight or that. Im sure he will claim his hand rot infection had everything to do with his loss if he cant win on Dec 5.

You said this fight would be exactly like Pavlik/Taylor II only PW would get the win for various reasons. I simply pointed out that in Pavlik/Taylor II KP injured both hands. That's why JT was kicking his ass in the middle rounds. Pavlik fought through the injuries, adjusted his game, and got the win. Why accuse me of making excuse for a fight Pav won. why not just man up, and give credit where credit is due?

The odds of the same thing happening to both hands in Pavlik/Williams are astronomical. So, you're comparson between the two fights has little validity.

Williams is faster than most guys Pavlik fought and taller, and he uses that height. And I think his power is there, but just most guys are so dazzled by his speed that they go into a shell and it is hard to knock out someone in a shell. Williams does not have the Thomas Hearns kind of power or mindset, but I think he has decent power. So I would not be as surprised as most of you would be if Williams scores a knockout.

This is exactly what I've been tryin' to point out as well, and these fella's just can't register the point of that.

BUT all the responses I can get is: "Well Paul avenged his loss with a first round KO, and Pav can't do that to B-Hop".

Well, I mean, Ex-****in-zactly!! IF B-Hop was on the level of Quintana, the I be damned if Pav couldn't.

That's a joke between me and Boo, bro. Boo DID infact lay down the exact plan B-Hop employed like 2 years before it happened. I always jokingly say I blame the loss on Boo and Boo alone.

Some of the best compliments I've gotten in a while on here.

WWMe, you should listen to this dude and NOT talk to me anymore.:rofl

I will agree with you, Mr. Fountain of Knowledge, from now on that Quintana and B-Hop are on the exact same level....Cool? lmao.

As I stated in my original post in the edge in experience with height and reach favors Pavlik.

And, Watch Williams/Wright and Taylor/Wright back to back. Paul is no faster than Jermain.

The question was not "What does Paul have?" It was "What does Paul have that Pavlik has not dealt with?"

Great Avatar btw. I don't think Williams is that fast. I seen Margo catch him with some slow looping punches.

Boo, the only thing I can think of as of now is workrate....I dont think Pavlik has faced a fighter that puts out a high workrate like Williams...Correct me if I wrong.:huh

He's faced a power puncher, an elusive boxer...I dont think he's faced a volume puncher though!:think

Prolly not like Williams, but Zuniga is an energizer bunny ( atleast in 2005 when they fought)that never stops throwin' either. I just don't know the punch stats on that one, it was on ESPN Deportes, with Spanish commentary.

Like has been pointed out, round 1 of Miranda both threw in the high 90's each. Point I guess, is IMO, Pav kryptonite is not work rate.:good

    Nice, huh?:p

All because I don't agree with him that Quintana and B-Hop are EQUAL..you know p4p. lmao.

In the very first round of Pavlik/Miranda, Edison threw 94 punches, Pavlik threw 97 back at him. Pavlik thrives on the other man's aggression. You don't beat him with work rate.
