I tend to agree. Still, 7 outta 10 is pretty good considering Lewis belongs in the top 5 HW ATG (in my opinion).

Vitali is nowhere near as athletic as Floyd Mayweather, so let's get that straight. He isn't as skilled either.

But the way he fought against Arreola, closely resembled the way Floyd fights (when Floyd fights aggressively)

    control the ring
hit and move out of the way of the counter
    slipping punches by leaning back
using footwork to retreat, circling around the fighter
He even circled away with his left glove on arreola at times, like Floyd does
stand and invite the opponent to hit him, with his hands down, ready to counter
    Clinch when it benefits you

Maybe if CA got his fat ass in shape he would be able to keep up with a 38 yr old with bad legs who had previously been out out for 4 +yrs due to injuries. I'm so sick of HW boxing, no fault to the klits they actually train, workout and look like they give a damn but the rest of this division is a joke. BTW Haye is better than CA and Peter because he actually trains like the klits and doesn't enter the ring looking like a bloated clown.

Absolutely. I only added in that part to my post to avoid the backlash of people thinking I'm putting Vitali on the level of Floyd, which I'm not.

One thing to keep in mind though is that P4P works both ways.. For a 6'8", 250lb man to move his body like that, it is alot harder for him, then a much smaller guy.

Vitali has amazing reflexes and an amazing sense of what is coming at him in the boxing ring

"What the **** is he moving away for?" Are you joking? Would you be impressed more if he stood flat footed in front of Arreola & let Chris bomb away?

"Why would VK fight Lewis toe to toe & box Arreola? Maybe VK's a better boxer now? Maybe Lewis closes the distance better & Vitali had to fight that way against him? Answer the question for yourself, the answers are very obvious.

There was not much clinching at all. The object of boxing is to hit without being hit and Vitali does this better than Chris in case you didn't notice.

And, last but not least, I had a lot of respect for Chris after that fight because he didn't go down & he showed a great amount of heart. If you don't believe me then so be it.

HBO shows that fight a lot. Go ahead & re-watch it. There was not a lot of holding. Check the amount of clinches per round.....................

In fact you're the only person I've heard who's mentioned that since the fight. Are you Mexican by chance? :yep How do those sour grapes taste.............?

Bazooka, ever watch Ali fight? He clinched more than practically any fighter at any weight. He also held & hit a lot & hit to the back of the head.

Arreola had a guy in front of him with his hands at his ****ing sides and he could not do anything. Do some of you not understand this? Arreola has nobody to blame but himself for his beating and there were few clinches in the fight period. I am willing to bet Arreola initiated more of the clinches anyway.

Vitali did run for about 30 seconds in the first round, after that he gave Arreola a boxing lesson. He kicked that ass.

Really doesn't matter what type of gestures or noises VK was making. . .Chris, out of frustration is simply trying to find something, anything really, to make him feel better. . .which is understandable, I guess.
