LOL I know what you mean but I do read The Guardian sometimes! Mainly for the sports section but I still read it!
Let's be honest, it's all much ado about nowt. She didn't say anything that bad, bit of friendly **** take banter.
In fairness she said that the political support was fabricated when in fact it was not. speaking as some one who put countless hours into garnering support for the campaign I find her comments highly insulting..........
Sorry, I haven't been paying much attention to the campaign for the last few months. Fair play for doing all that and I can see why people are pissed off. Didn't know you lot had gone that far.
She's going to end up with a lot of egg on her face and it's more than deserved, IMO. Accusing those involved in the campaign, who have spent so much time on it like Paddy and Stew, of fabrication and lying is not only going too far- it is also slander. I can't wait for the printed retraction:yep. Silly, posh girl.
and..what she writes isnt read by people as 'marinas thoughts' it is read as 'the gaurdian says..'...so this is serious stuff...all the hours, all the effort, from very good honest people, for a good honest genuine cause... i dont know what to say...a tv exec or the like could be reading his gaurdian or the site, and read that and think the whole site is fabricated...and she insinuates that steve has created the site, she is effectively saying he is telling lies and creating false testimonials....she is trying to ruin the man. serious stuff.
