How did Arreola show heart, yet Cotto is a bum?

Arreola looked pitiful in the fight with Vitaly. He showed how limited he is when he is in with a great boxer that doesn't just stand toe to toe with him. Yet, many people are giving him to much credit for showing heart. He didn't win 1 round and yet he showed heart? The fans are what is wrong with boxing now. Miguel Cotto fought 2 of the most avoided fighters of recent time, Margarito and Clottey, and showed more heart and desire then Arreola has showed in his career. People are applauding Arreola and bash Cotto every chance they get. This is what is wrong with boxing.

i don't feel that way at all. Neither are bums, and both will have great careers. Cotto will have the better career of the two I believe, even if he does lose to Pac. I think Arreola beats most HW's out there with the exception of both klitscho's, chambers, and povetkin.

Cotto was still doing much better with Margarito then Arreola was with Vitaly.

    I

Cotto is a disciplined fighter who applies himself and trains. Arreola is not, so yeah, its a bit wacky.

Cotto was the heavy favorite expected to win, Arreola was expected to be iced within 3 to 5 rounds at most by majority of fans/experts.

Honestly that was becuase all of you looked at his frame rather than considering he might have some heart. and thats why you all assumed he would be gone so quick.

I didnt see it that way, I wanted him to win no doubt, and I think he could have won had he been more committed to training, I am confident he will learn from this and come back stronger than before.

Neither guy is a bum BTW, anybody that calls any fighter a bum, really outta stop saying they know this sport, it takes alot to even compete on this level a true fight fan knows this.

BTW Scar Cotto was not a heavy favorite, it was a pick em fight for sure.

Vitaly is also 10 times more talented than Margo.

Of course neither guy is a bum, I would never support calling either man a bum. Bums don't compete like that and push THAT hard at the elite level. A good example of a bum is the ape Nikolay Valuev who I hope gets his head removed from a punch sometime soon.

Cotto was the favorite going in this fight, to the bookies he was a "confident" type of favorite to win a UD or late body shot TKO. To hardcore fans it was a close fight, I admit I overlooked Margarito and thought Cotto outboxes his ass easily BUT expected to see Cotto rocked here and there and hold on/get away with it due to Marg's lack of skills.

About Arreola, he just looks like that I guess, not all get the muscular physique. Ali sure as hell wasn't muscular and made short work out of elite fighters, frame means nothing. He trained his heart out for Vitali and you can tell with the way he was taking those punches, it was unreal. He just needs some more fights, they shouldn't rush these guys like that in my opinion but that's what the fighters want.

Whoever compares Vitali to Marg needs to get his balls chopped off immediately. Margarito has no skill.

I actually think he needs a better trainer, I mean I dont understand the point of any trainer telling his fighter to keep doing what he is doing when he is down seven rounds, I always hate to see that becuase they never allow the fighter enough time to get things going they always wait it out until the last two rounds, **** that if my fighter is down seven in a row I am telling him at the end of the 7th you have to put him on his ass...

its a corners job to look out for the saftey of their fighter, but its also his job to guide him to victory, and it is the corners job to sometimes be honest with their fighter and let him know, this fight is not close your behind or this fight is near dead even pick it up.....

I hate trainers that just say keep doing what your doing, **** no this is for the world title, make adjustments for **** sakes.
