It's funny coming from a guy who thought Simon (who got dominated and beat up), beat Abraham. Funny from a guy who already has the thread "Outrageous robbery!!!!!!! Taylor won" ready, so when/if Abraham wins by decision, you can cry robbery, most likely pointing out that Taylor landed the clean effective punches, exactly what he did vs. Kelly Pavlik in the 2nd fight, and that's why many had Taylor winning that fight. On a round by round basis. :thumbsup

I never said Simon won. I said he won 4-5 rounds.

Taylor won't get jobbed out on showtime.

Pavlik kicked Taylors ass in that 2nd fight. 116-112, it wasn't all that close.

Which how ever Big Bone wants to try, that's how many rounds the Official (AA' judges) gave Simon in the fight.:deal

Folks can feel however they want with their own scorecards, but the Official Judges gave Simon 3-4 rounds.:yep

I'm simply trying to draw attention to the fact that Abraham was a "paper titlist," in the purest sense of the term. He had that IBF title for nearly 4 years and 10 defenses, and to this very day he still has not faced a current or recent world champion. Jermain Taylor will be his first, and no matter how much we like JT, the fact remains that Jermain lost 3 of his last 4 fights, and is a two time Pavlik victim.

The same can be said about Hopkins vs Calzaghe, he did not do enough, but he lost. Most think Hopkins was landing more cleaner then calzaghe and hopkins should have won the fight. But when it comes to a future AA opponent in JT, you twist it and say Hopkins did not do enough to win that fight, pure bias if you ask me:hi:

Other then Smoger, I can guarantee you, MOST referrees would have stopped that fight, I am glad they did not and Pavlik showed a lot of courage.

Last time I checked Arum wanted AA to be a "bigger name" in the states, he came and made Miranda look stupid. I guess that was not enough. In the meantime Arum was negotiating a fight with the WORLD RENOWN Serigo Mora:rofl,

I know you did, may the BEST FIGHTER win, BOO, I will be here if AA gets KTFO or JT sees stars, I don't care if my personal favorite fighters lose, I just want to see them fight the best.

AA is proving this vacating his belt and moving up, that shows he would have fought Pavlik and he did not run from him.

And then he'd man up and take Abraham to school.

To be honest, even though I've watched this fight several times, I have NEVER scored it.

I know it was close. That is one reason I just watch and enjoy it. Consensus seems to be it was tied going into the 11 and Kelly took 11/12. That is what Loew believed at the time also and he was in a better position to judge than I was.

Taylor might just knock him out then ... I can't say what will happen in the fight other than Taylor is going to win. He's a better boxer, better technician, longer reach, taller, and more experienced ... Abraham is limited as far as his ability to throw straight punches ... box w/ good movement ... display good head and shoulder movement ... good reflexes ...
