    :patsch:patsch

another idiot. we all deal with math and accounting everyday of our lives, you just don't know it.

and how the hell can you surmise that i am hating on it when i just gave a detailed analysis on how to approach promotions like this.

no wonder you sound dumb. the sight of numbers make you dizzy. you buy gas, you pay for it. you use math. you buy a burger or anything you use math.

or are you an inbred ****** just like some of pbf fans. that is why you idol pbf has a lot of IRS troubles because he is poor in math and accounting, just like you apparently.

So the bottom line on this subject are as follows...

People claimed that Floyd wasnt a draw, Pac was the bigger draw...Then they explained away the fact that Floyd did better numbers vs hatton and Oscar because of the economy, and should Floyd fight during these lean times his numbers too would take a hit. Floyd comes out of retirement and does yet a third PPV vs another fighter that Pac also had a PPV vs and once again more then doubles the numbers that Pac did. Once that happened those same people then claimed it was the Mexican fans that made the number so high IE Marquez fans, the same fans that didnt spend the money on the fight between Pac and JMM. Once that argument got smashed they have now moved on to one that has fomulas and equations that the posters that are using them dont understand.

At the end of the day Floyd vs JMM did over 1million buys at a price range of $49.99 to 59.99 or 50 to 60 million+ on ppv alone...EVERYONE made money. What isnt factored in to the equations that people keep tring to use is sponsers, which are the people that pay to have thier goods and wears pimped during and leading up to this fight. For those that have any clue about marketing would now is normally a wash.

In the ends no matter of hair splitting will make over 1 million buys a flop, and that while going head to head with MMA which is suppose to surplant boxing, that is the thing that Boxing FANS should be happy about, instead you have a bunch of nutwaxers that isnt getting a dame of the money bitching and moaning about why a profitable fight was a flop. Any business man will then you it you spend a buck fifty and make three bucks in return its a PLUS not a minus...

At the end of the day the truths are Boxing is still on top of MMA, Floyd is the biggest draw in boxing, and *******s are shameless excuse making morons that no matter what the NUMBERS show will always figure a way to make Pac come out on top:hi:

  5. Epic numbering being thrown around here. WHo ever said Floyd wasn't a draw might need to reevaulate.

    :yep

    Impressive indeed.......

The breakdown from the press release was from cable and sattelite providers. Sales from movie theatres have not been added to the equation.

Poor Buxzer keeps trying to save face and spinning it, by falsely stating figures that are not fact!:rofl:rofl:rofl

Fact: I'm not the one who started this thread...:D

My prediction of Floyd-JMM fight as a joke tuneup mismatch fight is right on the dot... That's what matters most to boxing fans...:hi:

You're a bafoon that rooted for this matchup to flop the very moment it was signed...........

......you said that Mayweather and Marquez were not PPV attractions.....

......JMM-Mayweather did over 1 mill buys.....

.....how many buys did Pac-Hatton sell?
..ahhhh, anywhere from 500*800k....we can only speculate after Bob Arum laid us all this mumbo jumbo about Pac being the best sell in boxing, and yet he refuses to release the PPV buys for Pac-Hatton.:rofl:rofl:rofl

Bottom line is that JMM-Mayweather was a huge financial sucess!!!:deal:yep:lol:

Bottom line Floyd-JMM mismatch fight sucks bigtime just like what I expected it to be... It was a joke tuneup mismatched fight... Your boy, the smaller, older, slower, weaker, shorter reach and lesser skilled JMM can't do nothing on Floyd... Props to his warrior heart and guts...;) BUT it's not enough...:D

What's important is the actual fight... Not ticket/PPV sales...:hi:

So are you proud of that mismatched fight?? What good does it did to boxing??...;)

Imagine, Mayweather did over 1 million buys for a tuneup fight, what would he actually bring in for a formidable matfchup?
.....ahhhh, we already know, well over 2 million!:deal:yep

......who is it here between Pac and Mayweather thats the draw???:rofl:lol::lol::lol::yep

:rofl:rofl:nutStop it Buxzer, everytime you post on this subject, you manage to tighten the noose over your neck even tighter.

ur right....the fight is way jmore important than the ppv sales/ticket sales...but we are on a boxing website where fans get to talk about **** like ticket and ppv sales...the name of this thread pretty much tells u before u enter the thread that this thread is about the ppv buys for the mayweather-marquez fight...

Also i think it was a good tune up for floyd...u dont seem to understand cuz u prolly never boxed a day n ur life but when taking a "tune up" fight ur not gonna be lookin for the biggest baddest muh fu#ka out their...ur looking to get some work in the ring and if u got some rust than u lookin to get that off...
