2 cents: I hope you dont believe all that talk about Price being uncrowned welterweight champion. That's media hype promoted by the likes of Cosell who was the best they had at the time.

In my view, boxing never had the right people promoting the sport and today, there isnt one star out there to draw the public in.

But Cosell never had a genuine interest in the sport but was mainly interested in riding the Ali wave of popularity. Once that was over, how long did his career last?

Until leonard finished his career and once his career was up, Cosell looked for any excuse to bow out.
