Where do people stand on the Morales vs Pacquiao II weight issue?

True...pac also operates with a **** load of talent that no one else has the opportunity to enjoy but a Floyd Mayweathe or a Roy Jones Jr. Even as a 1 Demensional fighter PAC has the talent and natrual gifts to elevate him to the highest levels of the sport even if he was a one handed fighter.

a PRIME hatton walked through tszyu's deadly right hand...took collazo on short noticed ate the best he had, took urango's best body shots....and went 10 rounds against the best skilled fighter of his era mayweather....at the weight class he was not natural at....

then after floyd he almost got KO'D against a lazcano, showing lack of punch resistance....and then he fought a light puncher in paulie that was a one-handed fighter...

its clear as night and day that pacquiao got a faded hatton.....I never said he was shot like oscar, but clearly faded.....does manny get credit? yes....but nowhere is that as big as the morales, barrera wins....hell i rank pacquiao's ledwaba win very high, that was his break-out win so to speak..

 

People keep mention the Raheem fight as an example of Morales being shot but when did Morales ever fought someone with a style like Raheem?

instead of being shot maybe he just fought someone who had the style to beat him.

hatton got KTFO becuase of his style not because he was past it. He went on coma in just 2 rounds how can you judge him if he was past it.

but paulie still had a hurt hand in that fight, and he had mcgirt in his corner, which paulie looked like a rejuvenated man when he switced to younan.....hatton beat a light punching one handed figher last november....fact

and yes lazcano meets the text book of journeyman...what's juan's best notable win? you can't name one...he was a tough opponent, but hatton ate tszyu's shots, took collazo on short notice, and went 10 rounds against mayweather....before getting rocked by lazcano....i said before i give manny credit, but to put it on the level of the first barrera fight, the second morales fight, the first marquez fight(I gave my card to manny), and even the ledwaba fight that was his break out performance is ridiculous....

 

EM fighting above his optimal weight? If it was to be true, he would have been struggling to make 130 like you say. A lot has to do with EM ballooing up in between fights. It doesn't mean 122 was his "optimal" weight. I dont agree that after MAB/EM 1 EM wasn't the same. I felt he won in that fight and Mab should have won in the rematch. The rubber match they did get right regarding the scoring.

The fight with Raheem I saw as a lackluster performance against a very difficult style. one that he took lightly. Speed gives EM problems and the fact they were anticipating a PAC rematch on the horizon I think he looked past Raheem. Big mistake. DLH did the same thing when he faced Strum.
