    Great article by Lee Groves yesterday on Savarese - Fitch. Never seen this one, but Groves paints an excellent picture.

    "During an early clinch Savarese leaned in, whispered several sweet nothings into Fitch’s ear, raked at his eyes with the left glove and – when Fitch refused to let go – kneed him in the groin. As Fitch writhed on the canvas referee Salci had several options: Deduct a point, disqualify Savarese or grant Fitch up to five minutes of recovery time. Astonishingly, Salci did none of these things. He simply hauled Fitch to his feet, delivered a brief lecture to both men and ordered the fight to continue."

    I do think Calzaghe vs Bika was an ugly fight ... so was Calzaghe vs Hopkins ...

    but i'm going to go with Montiel vs Gonzalez ... that fight made my eyes bleed.

    Ugliest in terms of what as far as boxers mauling each other Vasquez Marquez 2 and 3 they looked like two beat up pittbulls after those fights.
