    Good job on the update....

When Cotto starches Manny and has his ass belly up in the 7th who
is Roach going to blame it on ?

Oh, thats right he can always blame the CSAC even though its in Vegas !!!!

    :think :blood :-(

Critic cheers for the update though :good...i think Freddie knows he's losing the Pacquaio he once had. He hasn't got that guy he used ti have who trained and lived the sport. Pacquaio has become more then that and while he has come on leaps and bounds Roach is a trainer and good trainers are realists and know when things aren't right. I think he may be getting a bit to worried for no reason..But who knows till fight night.

It has always been a problem of Roach that is why he brought in Moorer the last time around. Roach is too much of a people person, too nice. Roach always gave in to Manny's demands, but knew exactly when enough is enough. Roach wanted to fully do training in the US away from much destractions, but Pac insisted on the first four weeks there.

Pac always trained eights weeks, should be no excuse there. If he got his ass kicked, the only reason would be just to show really he does not belong in the welters, nothing more.

How can Pac be thinking about the fight after Cotto? That is insane. If he gets knocked out cold which is distinct possibility the fight after Cotto will be the one to regain consciousness.

Its bull**** they aren't training where Roach wants, its a bad sign.

I'm a Pac fan, but Cotto poses some huge problems. Anything less than Pacman at 125% and Cotto wins, even if he is 85% of the guy who walked in vs Margarito.

This isn't because Cotto is "better" its because he is naturally bigger. Pac has has accomplished more, but this is freakin' 147 against a monster of a fighter who has good defense and offense, and quickness, so quit scouting your next camp and pretending your Kobe and get down to work. :|

Cotto will be a nightmare for Manny and its not only because of the size. Cotto is a damn good fighter that fights at a slow measured pace. He can counter, he can lead, he can bang and he can box.

I think that many are misreading this fight big time, Cotto is the better figher, and has shown that he can deal with different styles and come out on top. Cotto can do it in different ways. Manny is really not that well rounded a fighter. He is fast and has good power. I truthly believe that Manny's only shot at winning the fight with be a sunday punch EARLY in the fight. Cotto will beat pac down, Pac isnt hard to hit, and Im not sure that his power will really be too much for Cotto to handle.

Parkinson's doesn't affect the mind usually, but mostly the motor neurone skills.

Ali thinks as he always did, he just can't physically articulate it. Fox still manages to do speeches.

I would easily favor Pac at 140, at 146 it is a whole different story. It is above Manny's best weight which is now 140 and at Cotto's optimum weight. I see Pac as at a disadvantage at 147, its simply a weight above his "sweet spot" of optimum performance. Just as I think 130 is below that know, and likely even 135 according to Roach.

I never meant to imply that the only thing was Cotto's size. That is why I mentioned his defense and offense, I think that just about covers it. :good But its his size combined with the fact that he is good and in his prime that makes him dangerous.

I think its a very tough fight for Pac. I don't know that he will win.

One fight I look to for a clue for Pac is the Cotto / Judah fight. Judah was fast and doing well until the low blows.

If Pac slows down and they just start "going at it" Pac loses, probably by an ugly one punch KO. Pac can fight with him inside but he has to maintain incredible speed and power and then get the #$% out. And I also believe, like you, that Pac probably needs to HURT Cotto within the first five rounds to win the fight. He has to discourage Cotto and let him know that he is dangerous.

I predicted Pac over Hatton by KO 2 and made a thread about it here. Nobody thought I would be right. I don't know what will happen this time, however Pac dreaming about the Mayweather fight is not a good sign.

I wish his mentality right now was the way it was after he lost a close fight to Morales. They should not be in the islands with a million cameras. This isn't Larios 2, oh, and Pac had the deer in the headlights look vs Larios for about ten seconds at one point before he recovered.

As a big Pac fan I'm definitely concerned. For the record though, I thought, like most, that Pac was doomed vs De La Hoya.

Funny how Pac's camp always seems so open in discussing it's problems(or at least Freddy is). You would think the logical thing to do would be to hush up any problems.
