You have a nice list.

Erislandy Lara is a fighter that already has some popularity...and because of that I didn't put him on my list..However IMO...of all the "Cuban" prospects...Gamboa (if he stops being a "SHOW-OFF") is the most COMPLETE fighter of the group.

Matt Korobov is spectacular. However, his physique is HUGE. Its just a matter of time til he totally abandons 160lbs. Can easily move to 168lbs-175lbs within the next 3 years.

Abner Mares - NOT IMPRESSED...AT ALL.

Drian Francisco - Nothing jump out at me that said TOP-SHELF, ELITE-LEVEL potential. A good fighter who may do well at 119lbs -122lbs...But if he decides to touch that DEEP TALENT POOL from 126lbs up....NO CHANCE!!!

Sorry...Don't know much about Canelo.

 

I watched a Frankie Gavin fight last night...:verysad

Not worth my time.

I saw NO SKILL!!!

 

On this list...The only fighter that stands out is Danny Jacobs. Solely because he has been TESTED (Mike Walker, Ishe Smith).

The other fighters are just as talented. Omar Henry is my favorite...This kid a DYNAMITE!! I like Porter, Andrade is really slick, Guerrero has already been labeled as a CAN'T MISS by many Critics, Gurus and Boxing Publications.

I first heard about Quillin 2 years ago...And haven't heard much since.

And for the record...CHAVEZ JR. Wouldn't 3 rounds with any fighter on this list!!!!

Gennady Golovkin - A very good European (Germany) fighter. I didn't see ALOT that showed me "Untouchable"...Because speed in not exactly his calling card.

Mike "Machine Gun" Jones - I Love is this fighter...At times he can be too OFFENSIVE. If he ever fights a fighter that is just as Offensively talented...CAN HE MAKE HIM MISS???

Ismayl Sillakh - I love long rangy fighters that can punch. We will definitely hear more about this kid....SOON!!!!

David Lemeaux - True Story...I was in the Toronto Airport and met another "Fight Fan"...and he was going on & on about the Lemeaux Kid. So I spent my entire flight back to the US watching Lemeaux fights on my laptop...And he kinda' grew on me. Still waiting for him to step up...He closing in on 20 Pro fights (17-0 17KOS and fighting this weekend)...NO EXCUSE after 20plus fights to keep fighting BUMS...STEP IT UP!!!

Abner Mares - NO. Sorry, This kid is NOT WORTH MENTIONING!!!

 

There are a "Hand-Full" of fighting from La Isla del Encanto who can be considered Hot Young Prospects. But I have learned from the past, that I need to see them fight "OUTSIDE" the Island.

I can clearly remember being totally "INFATUATED" with Boricua fighters calling them the next best thing since Coquito...Then once they are put on a fight card in Philly, DC, NJ, NY, Chicago or Detroit...They disappoint the hell out of me.

But with all that said Juanitoboxing...I have seen Luis Cruz fight. He's good, Didn't see a complete package...Speed, boxing, defense...but what I did see...POWER. But Boricua Fighters from the Island have always been DAMN GOOD PUNCHERS.

And 3 kids that I was Hyping for about a year...Orlando Cruz who just got handled on the Mayweather/Marquez undercard. but for the record, he was fighting BATTLE TESTED Veteran Cornielius Lock.

And the Vasquez twins. I thought they were going to be the real deal..And its still a possibility...But DAMN...They looked HORRIBLE on an ESPN2 card about 2-3 months back.

I am still rolling with the Vasquez twins...I like them. I hope they get it together though. They have talent!!!

 

Ok Brickhaus....Just watch two fights from Canelo...NOT IMPRESSED!!

I get so frustrated at the large number of fighters that attend the Julio Cesar Chavez School of INFLATED records.

This Kid (Saul Alverez "Canelo") is 19 years old and 30 fights already (29-0-1)
And he's a welterweight...Do you know how many SOLID B and C Level Welterweights that he should be fighting.

The same goes for Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. 23 years old with 41 fights (40-0-1). With all the talent at 154lbs.
