Man!! Last time I seen Simms he was @ 154 gettin' his ass kicked by Yoachim Alchim (sp? dude from Canada?).

**Simms did look good when he took the WBA (I think) 154 from Rivera (pretty sure that's the last time I seen him). Rivera won the title from Alejuandro Garcia with Ice John Scully in his corner.

I think the other Simms was the better one. This one is 38 years old and inactive. Won a split decision on his comeback.

Considering he's late notice and the height disparity I'm not hopeful for a good fight...

 

Yeah, I admit I'm too lazy to push the buttons that would lead me to box-rec,...But I'm 99% sure Travis is much better and the only one of the two to ever hold an ABC trinket.

 

Plus, for some reason I feel really confident that at 1 time they both fought 154, so has Tarvis grown thru inactivity, not trained, will just take an ass whoopin' from Green cause it's on Showtime and the money's good...What?

Yep he was at 154 some years ago. If you look on the news section of the site there is an article and Simms weighed in above 168lbs. Doesn't seem like he's in the best of shape.
